    That ability is there, but what Illumin was referring to is once you successfully free Jimmy from Lex's control, you are instantly taken out of the turret. Sometimes we're instantly targeted when Lex comes out and we get killed right when we get kicked off the turret. We should have to remove ourselves from the turrets, not get kicked off.

    Besides the lag making this raid unplayable. I as well as many others have noticed a few untouched one shots that aren't visible.


    The MK or jimmy or lex, does a Headbutt attack that is legit invisible. Even when all three bosses are in the middle people get picked off one at a time with this headbutt from a mile away and has no skull attack or any warning to this mile away headbutt. Please fix this especially its extremely frustrating having to wipe and wipe when we are so close due to this very far invisible headbutt.

    Also the white rings that lex is a problem. We understand we have to very distant and not have the white rings come in contact with one another, but I've seen multiple times when 2 persons have the white rings around them, and the white rings ARE'NT TOUCHING yet they still die from each others white rings on their combat log. I would suggest the white ring detection to be shrinked a tad bit to where this does not happen often.

    Yes, we have the option to get out of the turret early. But once Jimmy is freed from being controlled and Lex has left his bubble, it forces us out. Sometimes that happens at a moment when there are rockets right in front of our faces and we die instantly.

    Isn’t this easy enough for an elite raid? It’s almost impossible to die if people spread out, keep their eyes open and if in doubt, block. The horizontal rockets aren’t the easiest to pick out, agreed, but so what? It’s not a seasonal and it shouldn’t be the case that if you follow a straight line roadmap from start to finish, there’s something awry if anyone dies or there is a wipe. It’s a fight against a megalomaniac, a nerd in an out of control warsuit and a load of mechanical spiders, not Pong.

    While I agree that I like hard raids, the people aren’t asking to nerf the raid. They are asking to for the proper one shots to be marked when weaker moved have tells. Getting KOed when lex isn’t facing you and having no tell.

    The rocket barrage is a bit of a weird move (I always get targeted to I kind learned the move by necessity). When he targets you (and you are able to see the tell) and shots the barrage he stuns you taking you out of block while you get hit with the barrage. When I’m a healer I’m able to anticipate the heal myself through it. But when I’m a dps I have to hope that the healer has spotted me. Not to mention when someone Lex isn’t even looking at gets one shotted with barrages too so you can’t even react. And the lag also makes it so you don’t always see the one shots either.

    I would have no problem with other aspects of this raid being made more difficult. In another thread about whether elite raids should be able to be beaten on day one, someone said elite raids are about the flawless execution of difficult and/or complex mechanics and I fully agree. What they shouldn’t be about is random phantom one-shots even when mechanics and survivability tactics are indeed being flawlessly executed. Elite raids are supposed to test your skills, not your luck.

    I would like to thank you for the constructive tone of your post.

    I also agree with the statement. Where we slightly differ is that I don’t mind a bit of randomness thrown in. Nobody would argue in favour of random phantom one shots, that would be silly, but avoiding death should also sometimes not be as routine as pressing block at 3-5 seconds’ notice.

    I think a bit of that is to be expected. I can’t think of a single elite raid that doesn’t have some randomness to it. This particular raid seems to have more than average. I tend to run with leagumates or people I know (most of whom have ran this raid 10+ times by now at a minimum) so we’re all in group/instance chat and most use their mics. The “WTF was that?!?!” comments seem to be noticeably more frequent for this raid than other raids, even when just comparing the experiences of the other raids in the first week they were released.

    My team was struggling with the phantom 1 shots, typically the dps keep getting knocked out. When I was dpsing I just had to dps cautiously and make sure I'm not in the line of sight so I won't get targeted.

    Just to follow up, I've been watching this thread and listening to feedback from various players, and a bunch of tuning changes will hopefully be going out to live fairly soon (some may be next week), which should help minimize one-shots that feel unfair. We're also continuing to investigate reports of lag, and are making changes to try and improve things on that front. Thanks for all of the feedback, and sorry if you've experienced anything frustrating while playing.

    Since a patch we noticed Jimmy Olsen's Laser Beam has basically turned into a one shot. In combat tab it shows up as either 2 or 3 seperate attacks but the health lost is so fast it's basically a one shot. Without Jimmy showing a red skull or any signs of it coming. It wasn't like this before patch and it's so annoying to be killed by it when you don't have any warning of it or even see it coming

    The hotfix which included patches to resolve a lot of remaining issues should have gone out last evening. Please continue to let me know if you see any issues or have any additional feedback.

    Some changes have been made to a number of abilities, and chevron tells and delays were added for some of Jimmy Olsen's attacks. Let me know if you're continuing to have problems with any of them. Thanks!

    yeah it was waaay smoother and the spider wasn’t handing out random one shots i mean, As far as the elite version goes! Thanks for the fixes!

    Imo the turrets just feel bad.
    As you enter them and they're facing to the boss, you spawn inside, facing the wall...
    Then, if you shoot, there is no feedback to the player if you hit the objective or not. Yes, the Mission in the UI gets updated, but i never know if i contributed to it or any of the other turrets did all the work.
    The only reason some People like it, is for the extreme Damage these turrets do.

    If you run a set up of 1 Tank 1 Heal 1 Troll and 5 Dps (wich is the case around 90% of all runs since the raid is super easy even in Elite), you get 3-4 Dps in the Turrets (depending on the boss). These 1 or 2 Dps that stay outside are useless for that duration, since there is just Brimstone at the 1st boss and the turrets even have an ability against adds at the second boss. Also, Jimmy Olsen can't be k.o.'d, so damaging him below 20% just heals him back up all the time wich makes the Dps outside of turrets even more useless.

    Also, its just button smashing whenever an ability is off cooldown in the turrets. There is no way a Meteor can knock you out of the turret at the 1st boss fight if you just spam the second ability inbetween spamming the 1st one.

    There is also an invisible attack from Lex that k.o. players as you fight him just before the 1st Boss. I didnt die of it yet so i can't name the attack, but i guess its the rocket barrage. Its nothing too serious but a bit annoying since its almost always 2-3 People that die for no reason - at least in Elite.

    Thanks to some really bad luck in normal, I think it’s the “rocket launcher” attack that was removed from the alert for that exact reason. I think it was supposed to have been removed from the raid too, but I guess it got lost in the shuffle.

    Hey been playing the raid since it dropped it's great, but what happened to the blue target lex would put on a player. No one in my league sees it anymore. We are on xbox hero side and it is elite version of the raid

    Why is Lex more dangerous before he gets source energy?

    Alpha Lex Luthor rocket barrage = 53k

    Lex Luthor rocket barrage = 93k+

    And please remove the rocket launcher attack from pre-alpha Lex, phantom oneshots are nobody’s friend.

    Still waiting for that rocket launcher attack to be removed or adjusted... sucks having the only death in the entire run because AI roulette screwed you.
