You can wipe for everliving ,it's not a first attempt feat.

It implies 1st run. Who is doing 1 run, leaving halfway thru, then starting another run? If u started another run then its a fresh run and u could do the feat. In a single run makes no sense. Every run is a single run. U cant do multiple runs inside 1 run. U can wipe in your run and keep trying the feat which is fine. Please explain how u do 2 runs in 1 run. Every person i know says the same thing. Every run is a single run and its not possible to do multiple runs in 1 run. Also thanks for the rude explain like im 5 The wording makes no sense. And im guessing u cant explain it so it will make sense. Cause what your saying is u cant leave and start another 1 so that means everyone has to do the feat on their very 1st run thru the alert? Well that isnt true either. Cause i had 4 league mates who ran it yesterday, thought it was 1st try, they failed, left and all 4 stayed in group and didnt run anything else. Someone told em right after they disbanded that it isnt a 1st try feat and they requeued right there. Went back in and got the feat. Again how is it possible to do multiple runs in 1 run?

So leaving one run and starting another run won't allow you to get the feat? That would imply you can only get it in the first ever elite run you would have ran. Yeah I don't think so. The single run part of the description requires very little common sense, and given how some feat descriptions have been vague in the past, people assumed the "single run" part was indicative of something more complex.

So only the dbag elitists should be able to run elite content? No, it's called elite because it yields elite gear (or supposed to at any rate), only 1 revive and is more difficult. That doesn't mean that it should be ridiculously more difficult. The normal version of this alert is like the Mickey Mouse Club. It's so easy it's absurd. The first and last bosses in elite are pretty easy. There shouldn't be such a huge discrepancy. If you get into a really good group that knows exactly what to do, then elite can be done. Problem is most of the players in this game are casual. They shouldn't create raids and alerts that automatically illiminate casual players from moving past the 2nd boss. In DWF most groups couldn't get past the 1st boss on normal. It makes it even more difficult to get into good groups because they usually only play with their league or with friends they know. PUG life sucks enough as it is.

Nope. Dbag elitists, crybabies, casuals, hardcore min-maxers, skilled players and everyone else can run the elite content. However, only the people in those groups who know what they are doing should be able to clear the content. It is meant to be a challenge and you should not be able to skate through it tapping Y. If you can't finish the operation, either step up your game, farm some better gear or both.

It's strange when I read "need X role for 2nd boss RIT E" on the LFG chat. The 2nd boss is not hard at all. @ Laura Lightning, you must be getting grouped with really sucky players if the groups you're in are having trouble with any of the bosses in RIT E. When Adam says "guards", the adds will spawn and the crystals will begin shooting the fire. Everyone needs to be vigilant and aware of the surroundings.

Lol, The "Nerf DWF" thread comes to my mind: "Normal is too hard, it should be easy. Hardcore Players can have their challenge in Elite"
Lots of people said that once Normal version were nerfed, the same people who cried for it, would begin to cry to make Elite easy as well.
And what is happening now? Normal is easy and people are crying to make Elite be easier.

    SMH.

Exactly right. I even said watch when the next 2,3 elite pieces of content come out. People will ask for them to be nerfed. The nerf calls never seem to stop and neither does the entitlement. Yea everyone should have a chance to run all the content and get the gear. And the game does that. But if you are not good enough to finish elite content then u simply arent good enough and u have normal to run.

I havent beaten DWFe. I can say ive only tried it twice and that was before ep25 went live. It was tough. But last thing im gonna do is ask for it to be nerfed. I either need to get better, run with better players, or wait until im stronger when the next episode drops. And tbh rip in time elite is nowhere near as tough as PZe was or even DPe. Lots of groups got both elite feats in the 1st 24-48hrs. Elite version of this alert is not ridiculously difficult. And i will never understand why someone is an elitist just because they know how to play the game and are good players. I think some people use that word and really dont know what it means.

Actually If only few can ever run Elite that's fine, it's not meant to be for everyone, DWF normal was an exception as it was really too hard for most players, but if RiT normal is easy that's fine, if elite is near impossible that's fine too, after all Elite shouldn't just be because that's what the gear says, the challenge part also matters.

Regarding the discussion about feats using the description of 'in a single run,' what I mean is that if you fail the feat in one run, it won't always be failed for you. In the past, we've made a lot more feats that require you to do it in the 'first attempt,' meaning if you fail it on the first attempt (or run), it would be failed for the rest of the instance, and you'd need to re-queue and start again fresh to have a chance to get it.

So, if there was a feat that said 'never get hit by a fire,' the implication to me is that we can never, ever (even if we wipe), get hit by a fire, or we'll fail the feat. Therefore, I've been in the habit of adding 'in a single run' as compared to 'on the first attempt', as a way of trying to imply you can still do it even if you failed to meet the condition before wiping.

That said, if anyone has a good idea on how to better message these differences, I'm open to suggestions. One caveat, any feat that's tied to a steam achievement or some sort of console trophy, we can't change the text of. Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'll mull it over too, and try to come up with something more clear.

If that's how literal and in-depth you read the feats you must not have a lot for us common folk it's clear tho it's dumbed down for us

This is mostly a UI issue, since there's only so much info you guys can put in a single scrolling line, but I think replacing "in a single run" with "while in the alert" would help players understand that it's not a one time only feat, but that as long as you are inside the alert you can still try it. As far a the one time only feats I think you could say "Don't get hit at any time during any runs", I think that should make it clear that even if you wipe, getting hit stops the feat.

    On that attempt?

This is exactly how I interpreted this, the wording seems fine to me, but maybe a glossary within the feats menu could clear some of this up?

the drop rate for me is awful
