    Hey all! Now that 'A Rip in Time' is live, please use this thread to post any feedback about the content. I'll be monitoring this thread for any issues, comments, etc. Let me know if your feedback is specific to the Normal or Elite version of the content if it's relevant.

    Thanks to all the folks that helped test this new content on the Test server, and thanks for your continued support and interest in DCUO!

    Would it be possible to look at the dot animation in the Black Adam fight? The only real way I could tell I had the dot on me, was b/c my health ended up fluctuating a lot. I wasn't able to see the animation, the pink color blends in really well with Severe. If it could be made bigger? Or brighter? Or something, that would really help.

    Great job on the alert Jack, still don't like the middle with having to fight so many adds in such a large map, feels like those where put there to give the alert an extra 5 minutes, but overall it's fun and it's nice to be out in the open after having so many alerts inside buildings all the time. Please keep using open world areas, even if it's old ones for alerts, just don't make us fight adds simply because there was nothing else to do, some of the raid objectives could have comeback in a way to the alert, like instead of having to place the rocks, we had to remove them since we're in the past.

    Was good fun both normal an elite, gonna sound like a complete elitist but I thought the elite version would of been harder, however not too shabby :)

    Ps. Never like the middle part of doing all those adds, sort of reminded me of pb abit boring at that part.

    Also we noticed today we cant see the animation of whatever is coming off the crystals to give people the DoT. How can u dodge if it u cant see it? All we see is a pink/red flame blink on the ground for less the a second. Ran it twice today so far with multiple people and everyone in the group said the same thing. How do i dodge it when i cant see what im supposed to dodge? And we were getting the DoT 4 or 5 times each on 1 set of the guards coming out. Id cleanse then cleanse then cleanse. Idk if that is intended or not. Just seems odd to have to cleanse it like 4 times. Maybe i keep getting it because u cant see HOW im getting it. I know it comes from the crystals but just cant see it until i already have it.

    Is what you're seeing different than what you saw on the Test server? (I recall you posted in that thread previously).

    Based on your sig, you're playing on PC? Do you have your FX slider in settings adjusted at all by off chance? Any more info could be helpful.

    I'm mulling over the other feedback in the thread as well. Thanks everyone!

    Had enough replay badges from being legendary to reset it 5 time and got one drop I will never spend another dime on replay badges again.

    I'm on PC and have my settings as high as the game would allow (V-Sync Off) and Light is right, the animation for the dot is of less than a second and it happens so often is almost impossible to evade.

    I like this alert. It gave me a reson to dust off my Dino trinket it sux runnin around kahndak as supper speed lol. Ran reg got the shoulders twise and the head once. Ran elite twise got the shoulders once.

    I can confirm lights experience while I run everything on max. Our tank reported the same issue. The only difference was it was very inconsistent, we do had it often seen but once in a while something invisible exploded. This is different from test, I had no issues with the red stuff on test =/

    And the collection reward for the alert? Ugh does not look good imo. Wish it would of been the head style that savage is wearing for the last boss. That robe looking thingy. Maybe in the future u guys could add that head style as a reward.

    Yes we had everyone in both groups turn their fx settings all the way up. 1 person could see it but me and 6 others could not see it and yes what elusian said too. It is different from what i saw on test. Thanks for the response btw.

    Same here. Most of the times the fire was not visible. The only way to know was when it was already too late.

    Overall enjoyable as it was on test. Normal version seems fine although the busy work portion after the second boss isn't my favorite.

    The second boss on elite isn't tuned correctly though. The fire ticks are way too high for how frequently they hit, how hard they are to see and the scarcity of the cleansing fountains. Frequently three or four people would have the fire and not be able to cleanse. I would recommend drastically reducing the amount of damage the fire ticks do, increasing the number of pools/ pool radius or creating a mechanic to somehow whitle away at the crystals and disable their ability to hit.

    Overall a fun alert marred by a broken elite second boss fight.

    Yea when we did regular alert the fire hit for 2ks and was no problem, but during elite it was constant 6ks and adam was constantly throwing people across the room so they couldnt cleanse. Not even the tank could take it. Was kinda getting out of hand.
