As title says, the text on the Enhanced Orrery Guardian feat, (“Captain of the Ultima Thule”), states collecting all the styles will grant the feat and grant a discount on the head, chest, shoulder, legs, back, waist and feet items from the Save the Universe vendor. This appears to be bugged as no such discount exists with the feat. Playing on US/PS on a PS4 To replicate, have the “Captain of the Ultima Thule” feat and head to Rip Hunter in the House of Legends. He will not provide the discount.

If you do a little research into it, you'll see that the old vendor discounts have already been calculated into the regular set and the elite set prices. In addition, the price of the weapon and the other accessories were cut in half. The weapon was 70 GoT before, now it's 35 GoT. However, the regular Fuginaut set seems more expensive now than before (with discount applied). Since STU is running for 6 weeks this time, I wonder if the gear prices are reflective of this shorter time frame or if these new prices will continue forward for years to come? I mean... the prices right now are pretty great and if they stayed that way, that'd be sweet. 35 marks for an end game weapon is a steal, relatively speaking.
From the way it was explained to me, the cost of gear is the same as the last STU. However, when completing the elite set, there is a further discount on the other gear just like the episodes. So the gear should be even less with the feat.
This isn't true. The vendor prices are not the same. The prices have been cut in half for all players. No feats needed this time.
I was thinking that since STU was cut to 6 weeks or half the previous time and moved to event from episodes, that is why cost is half. With that, I'm thinking there would still be a discount because the length of the event was changed. Just a thought.
Wait a minute, so the Feats states it is giving discount, so ppl work hard to get it (even spend Game MONEY for Replay Badges to get gear Styles from all Alts in Main, replay elites, invest time) so they can use the discount for their Alts, BUT surprise-surprise-> FEAT is with misleading/NOT Working Description ?? And u try to convince people everything is fine? If it says that it DOES Something, then it must! Even it's 1 Mark discount!
I think a dev response to help clear up confusion here would be appreciated, because there are lots of people in game who are wondering why they aren't getting a discount that just don't have forum accounts, and there are people here who are also stating that the gear price is adjusted with that in mind.
