    Hey there guys,

I made a little spreadsheet /w a friend to help new and regular players to setup their own roles in the most efficient way. I tryed so hard to optimize it in the most efficient way to improve readability.
I'm currently working to add other sections to expand it and make it even more usefull.
It's hosted on my own Google drive, and feel free to download it as the format you prefer (DOC, PDF,HTML etc)
Let me know what you think, all suggestions are always appreciated.

I think it would be beneficial to understand what level of content it's built around so one could decide if that's the level they're aiming for and if it's worth investing in all the things marked 'required' for their preferred role. Judging by the sheer number of things marked required for healers and the recc'd SP, I'm thinking this is for elite+ end game content, right? Because I know healers who maybe have 1-2 of the required items, are missing must-haves, and have less than the listed SP who do just fine in reg and standard elite. My main is a healer so familiarity with the role is why I'm speaking to this section specifically.

I'm not poo-pooing your efforts at all, btw- I LOVE spreadsheets (not sarcasm) and think its awesome you were willing to compile a break down of useful arts and allies by role AND share it with the community because nth and ally favor are not cheap (whether spending money or the time to grind it out) so other players can better understand where their investment may have better return.

Thank you so much vRad for your constructive comment, i really appreciate it!
And yes, you are right, as the spreadsheet name say, this is the real endgame where players can basically deal with even the most challenging content as elite plus.
Admount of SPs suggested for each role is to be capable to cover the role in the most efficient way, that's why is so demanding.

Anyway i will add as soon as possible those sections you suggested, so people have an idea about how many resources they need, great tip!

    Thanks a lot dear,

    Have a nice day ;)

    First of all, great job!

There's a few improvements you could make; separating Tanks by powers would really help and clarify the requirements section, and expand on allies. For example, Static is a great combat ally for a Fire tank, but is bad for Ice. Likewise, Everyman Prototype is only *really* good on Fire, good on Rage and kinda iffy on the rest. Circe's Mask is quite useful for Ice, but terrible for Fire. Also Shazam has a very strong heal and does much more damage than Nubia, just a consideration.

So Fire "requires" Everyman, Manacles, Mystic Symbol, but Earth is much better with MERCY, Lazarus, Manacles.

As far as Troll allies, Batman-who-laughs first passive is nice for buffing, but his second passive is able to give you another stacking defense debuff. Zod and Death Metal Batman are also good considerations. On artifacts, I'd say that Hecate's is not required at all. It is nice to have, but your third slot as a Troll is taken up by a lot of swapping. So while keeping Rao and BoP Commlink on, you're switching between Tetrahedron, Claw, Cog constantly, and then soul cloak and philopher's stone/dead King's, too. This actually leaves very little time to use Hecate's.

Lastly, I don't see anything for pet DPS. Like Source Shard, Quislet, MERCY/Grimorium with Aquaman/Zatanna -- is this intentional?

    Great stuff!

Scrap required for healer? As a pure heal celestial in elite I don't even use a SC. I don't even attack unless absolutely necessary, I'm simply safely in the air or in back doing my job. I only change my positions if there's danger or the tank leaves line of sight. I have a bunch of heal builds and one does use scrap(eog spam) but I would never tell anyone that wanted to heal that it would be a great investment in scrap. Kinda seems like the builds you suggest are based around increasing output for DPS. Funny thing is DPS had a bunch of ways to buff damage but out of selfishness cried here on the forums until the devs changed the moves to no longer buff anyone but yourself, now y'all want others to buff y'all. Anyway it's a interesting read I'm just confused by the healer section, doesn't make sense.

The builds are as he has stated, for "optimized group setups" like it or not increasing damage output is and always has been the most desired and efficient way to play dcuo at top level endgame. Without wanting to sound rude, a healer standing in back doing nothing but healing is far from "optimized" a choice yes "optimized" no.

An excellent tool for people wanting to break into high level endgame, thank you for your work!

You're entitled to your opinion. My experience won't be hijacked by any means. When I q as a heal, I thats what I'm going to do, not go in and out of my inventory swapping artifact just to appease the DPS. He's responsible for dealing his own damage. Isn't that why they changed the weapon buffs to only buff your own damage because DPS were here crying because they "lost" on a meaningless scorecard to a teammate. I see how you guys have hijacked and bullied trolls into doing what you want. I know you also want healers doing pickups(I'm not opposed to doing a emergency pickup if I'm nearby as a healer) instead of DPS as to not"disrupt the flow of damage". So when you heal elite you go ahead and use the so called meta way of playing just to get the same marks and loot that I get from elite.

Lol where is all this coming from? He didn't say you have to play that way. All he did was clarify that OP's guide was geared towards the optimal group setup. It's a fact that certain setups are more efficient than others, not an opinion. You're still free to play however you want.

Sure he did, "Without wanting to sound rude, a healer standing in back doing nothing but healing is far from "optimized" a choice yes "optimized" no.". He wants me to put myself in harms way , but why? If I'm healing and the tank hasn't dropped and we clear the mission why does a healer need to put themselves in harms way?

For healers, Oracle returns about the same power as Cyborg, but costs way less to level, and doesn't care if you forget to repower your lair generator.

I did not anywhere in that quote state that you HAVE to play that way, just stated that way is "optimized" like it or not, thats how it is, thats how the best optimized leagues and groups setting record times do it, the people wanting to replicate/compete or just take part in such runs now have this excellent tool to help them get better and reach them levels if they wish to do so.

I think you're reading too much into it. He's just saying that from the perspective of achieving the most efficient / fastest runs, a healer giving greens helps more than one who isn't. That's all. You're right that content can be completed just fine without it. Most healers don't do this and you don't have to either.
