Not sure if it's everywhere, or just at AMC theatres, but they are re-releasing Empire for the 40th. Just an FYI for all you younger people that have only ever seen the 'lesser' er...'newer', Star Wars movies on the big screen. This will now be the 3rd of the older 'great' movies that they will have gotten to see on the big screen. Raiders (in Imax too), Jaws and now Empire. Yeah, there are a lot of movies that that deserve the big screen that are newer....not saying different...just saying there are reasons they re-release only a few 30-40 year old movies...it's cause they are better when bigger.
