  1. BlackandGreeN New Player

I'm not asking for the best but the most updated one or currently most effective
I want a dps build with rotation and preferably weapon choice also

I'm currently using anhurs guide with bow and super speed
im a fresh level 30 and not sure about pve and pvp but that's another thread

and don't give me the 'choose what you like best' reply
    thank you

so you want a loadout with rotation and a weapon, but you dont want the best. You also dont want to do what you like.

    Ok here you go

    tesla blast
    repulse
    attract
    ionic drain
    tesla ball
    shockwave

use dual pistols, rotation is tesla blast and then go down the list. 1 at a time. if you run out of power just hold your ranged attack and look cool.

lol you serious?!!? the best dps will always have your own flavor to it*.

    *except celestial

Can't decide if serious or stupid?......

anyway thanks for the build I'll try it but as I stated in my OP that I wanted an updated and effective build but not necessarily has to be the best

and yes I do hate to do what I like, I prefer opinions rather than my own free will ( everyone's different )

but I do suspect that the build you gave me might not be good....

seriously though mate please be serious

    Fresh level 30......

    you should carry something to electrify or polarize your emeies;

so static push, tesla blast, wired, and I think telsa ball (I perfer wired - its a group eapon buff and can be used to clip)

second elctrogenesis (this is your primary dot)

Third electrocute (storm cloud - works with electrified or polarized builds)

After this its personal preference for fresh level 30.....

    I would go.....

    electrogenesis
    wired
    electrocute
electroburst (its melee - but as a fresh 30 its a low cost high impact dot)
Electric's self shield I forget the name (with regen shielding mod it" a heal and you can use it to clip)
voltanic bolt or telas ball depending on how youspend your power points

I would also run with electrostatic pule device consumeable

and later as trolls get better geared

you can go more polarized with static push, e-bomb, and over charge. Its much more power intensive.

    @ Above
PERFECT Just what the doctor ordered
    Just 3 Questions

1 Is this for PVE Or PVP?
2 Preferred weapon for this build?
3 Is This for all content (I Have Only Lightning Strikes DLC)?
  6. Remander Steadfast Player

You might take a look at Max Volt's guide in Oracle's Database. Some good info there. Multiple viable builds.
  7. BlackandGreeN New Player

are they up to date? since they seem old
  8. BlackandGreeN New Player

and I'm also a polarization guy...
  9. Remander Steadfast Player

It's pretty up to date. Max does a good job keeping it current. There's also some good discussion in there. Polarized was my preference in my later days as Electricity.

    PVE

    for pvp for

    wired
    elctrogenesis
    electerocute
    self shield
    supercharge heal 50 %
    electroblast

set a dot then weapon combo and repeat, always keep wired up, use the heal supercharge soadas and trinket when necessary

Weapon is strictly preference, rifle and Handblast is most DPS dream these days.

I prefer DW, I handed, and MA for the crit chance buff. Never got into brawling.

Rifle has strongest tap range attack and is very clippable plus its aoe

Handblast solar flare is another clippable aoe.

*edit staff charge blast is very effective and hits hard these days too

Its not a top end game loadout, you look at the electric guide for that but for lower end content it will work quite nice.

btw i find electic more fun as a healer role, justa personla preferance
  11. ScifiToilet New Player

    lol ask serious questions then.

Max Volt's guide and all the other elec builds on these forums are kinda outdated and tbh IMO weak. I think theyve all been staring at elec for so long theyve lost sight. Im just coming back to electric so i have fresh eyes. Currently using this.

    spark barrage
    e-bomb
    wired
    OC/ Static Push
    e-burst
    e-cute/OC

the gameplay is very difficult tho, you NEED to be very close to the boss. I use 1h so my rotation generally revolves around spark jumping into something then getting a wep charge in. Spark and OC allow you to clip into another power so there are a lot of combos you can do. I havent found an optimal one so right now the rotation is different everytime. i go with the flow and w.e. is off CD is what I cast so I cant give you a good one. Good thing is lots of adjustmetn room. If power isnt an issue then go more burst, if it is go more DoT and the dmg wont suffer too much. very fast gameplay, very fun. Electrifying.
  12. BlackandGreeN New Player

wait scifi was your 1st post trolling?
anyway I'm trying ACW pve build using 1 handed but due to extreme lag I did only 7000 damage
  13. Ryan Kirito New Player

Ok here is probably the most used loadout for electricity DPS at the moment.

Electrogenesis - Wired - Electrocute - Electrostatic Bomb - Overcharge - Static Push

Personally I haven't played around with overcharge but aside from that that is the same build I use. It gives you large amounts of AoE damage, It can be used at a mid - far range (for extra safety) and keeps DoTs on. Your primary order will be Electrogenesis (clip if you want to with Wired) then Static Push, Electrostatic Bomb then Electrocute (clip with wired if you want to) the clips with wired are optional to either clip Electrogenesis or Electrocute. However Clipping Electrogenesis with Wired and waiting out the electrocute animation will result in you gaining the higher damage modifier from Electrocute.

I like using Bow or Rifle. HB work well to. You can use 1Handed but I haven't tried to that much, Focused Blast hurts but I don't like melee weapons.
  14. BlackandGreeN New Player

    I use 1 handed
so with ACW's build I hit 18620 in area 51 and 8100 in hive duo
    is this good?
I'm thinking of trying your build ryan next then scifi if possible,if anyone is on eups3 send a mail to BlackandAdaM
and is maxv volt guide old? andc other electric guides?
  15. Meta Flare New Player

If you're a fresh level 30, you should play and find a loadout and rotation you like and get comfortable with the power before you start getting people's opinions and being a scoreboard chased.
  16. ScifiToilet New Player

yo my first post was completely joking. I hope you realized that if you ended up trying it.

Ryan Kirito's post above does show the current popular (if you can call anything elec popular) loadout. But you should really check out max volts guide in guides section. I bring up 2 loadouts that are strictly better in a single target setting, which is most of t5. just remember that anything before Aug 2013 AKA before the attract fix, will not work. Attract no longer behaves like it once did and no one uses it anymore.
  17. BlackandGreeN New Player

So What do you suggest I Do?
Im leaning To PVP But My Friend's tell me that elec dps is bad for pvp
so im doing pvp and pve with ryans build
so could you tell me the build you were talking about? now im my pve cr is 42 and pvp is 77,weapon is 1 handed
    So whats the game plan?
  18. ScifiToilet New Player

oh i would not use pve loadouts for pvp. in general they dont work.

I would use e-burst and e-genesis for pvp for sure. They are bascially guaranteed DoTs forcing them to rush and allowing you to counter.
e-cute is not so great for duels, they just walk outside teh AoE and it does 0 dmg. =(. works pretty well in big fights tho.
since youre using more weapon attacks, wired is a good option. +10% weapon crit chance
e-bomb and tesla blast are also pretty good because they knock over and stun the enemy, respectively.
flux. its a shield which is never a bad thing.
never tried, but overcharge should still work in pvp.

im not experienced enough with elec dps in pvp to give you a loadout, but those spells i mentioned should give you some ideas.

as for people calling elec dps bad. yeah its kinda true, but screw it. It makes your victories so much sweeter.

  19. Remander Steadfast Player

Agreed. Wired, E-burst, EG, EB, TB, Flux is a good PvP loadout. I wouldn't mess with OC, as you aren't likely to get in 12-15 hits in most PvP confrontations. Because a lot of PvP actually ends up being 1v1 or 1v2, TB is a great way to apply electrified, even at range. You can cast it (usually will stun the target), quickly lunge in for a knockdown, then cast E-burst or EG. A personal shield is always good, and Flux will push your opponent away.

Plus Flux polarizes anyone around you.
