If you're going to insist on "buff trolls" then yes... you will need at least one so the troll can keep popping a supercharge shield since that is the only way to do a full power recharge on anyone. POT does not always suffice, especially when you are talking about using power-hungry moves.

As for DPSes, it will ensure they can frequently hit something like neo-venom boost without having to worry about "topping off" the SC bar.
