earth and nature nerf, what about other powers?

    hm how so i was testing berserk on dummies and did 0 damage per second while bunker buster did some damage per second not to mention the huge range discrepancy.

    Instead of asking for nerfs and making this the slowest game on the market, maybe you could ask for the other powers to be brought up? 2 birds, 1 stone?

    According to devs the not splitting is in fact intended. As someone else mentioned vs single targets those powers do poo for damage.

    Rage, that's melee and risk vs reward- so I'm good with that. I also hope they take a look into some of the powers that are slightly underperforming and bring them up to par

    Fair enough, but then that could break all of the other balancing they have been doing to the NPC's thru out the game.
    Bring the obvious ones down which IMO would be the things they are doing to Nature or just the range of JackHammer (it's WAY to large AOE) Then address the powers that seem to be lacking a bit

    Which makes Rage strong is the Supercharge Berseker but Rage being melee or range is fine.

    I think tweaking NPCs would be an easier job than tweaking powers. Aren't they fixing certain NPCs anyway?

    Rage is totally balanced, lol.

    Been rage for going on three weeks now. Yes, the SC needs toned down. That's months only issue with rage melee dps, sorry other rages players. The AOE of rages melee moves need to be just that. The AOE also needs to be frontal cone damage, not AOE.

    These two issues should bring melee inline with earth and the same fixes that are being done to JH.

    Just a FYI, if we get to a point of having to play at ranged, rage may end up needing looked at. It's ranged damage is not good. This would not be a power you would want in elite runs or SM. Lol, the super charge generator lunges you into battle. You have to clip out of it each time. This will be super useful in SMs.

    If this is demonstrated so certainly will be fixed. Melee combos should only hit on 180°.

    They don't, I can confirm. Just like JH, you jump in the middle of the room and can hit in a AOE, not as big as JH, but still aoe.

    They are similar in concept, which is why I'm highlighting in my previous post where I discussed testing it out versus Berserk. Berserk blows it out of the water, sadly.

    It's fairly obvious we parsed over 30 second intervals using our normal rotation after popping Berserk/Neo-Venom Boost/Bunker Buster. Y'know, the rotations we were each parsing 14.5-16k per second respectively, without supercharge. The addition of our supercharges to our rotations over a 30 second interval showed a significant disparity between the two, seeing as how our parses beforehand were basically even.

    As to the range discrepancy, the risk versus reward for Rage melee is not high enough in my opinion to warrant this huge damage disparity. Even though Bunker Buster can be hit at range, it is still a full supercharge. Neo-Venom Boost is similar to Berserk. There probably shouldn't be such a huge disparity between these two then, no?

    i was just asking what is the point of nerfing nature and earth alone? ppl will switch to rage and other op stuff
    the point is why nerf some and not touch the other? they know some people will not accept their power after the nerf then will switch = more money for them

    I agree with you they should improve other underwhelming powers to keep up

    Rage is going to be adjusted too im guessing although how is rage range?.. the melee you basically have to be point blank in the bosses face outrage doesnt hit mid range right?... but the range i havent heard its op.. maybe it is and i just dont know... but im sure it will be adjusted ... and then bring up the other ones that are falling behind.. there is a mid tier group of powers which is the biggest group of all the op/under performing. Powers thats where everything should be brought in line

    I know for a fact that Nature and Earth were always capable of doing competitive DPS without Jackhammer or Roar for that matter; it's just that Jackhammer and Roar were doing so much DPS that all of the other DPS loadouts didn't compare until now. So my best advice to those players is to go back to the drawing board, read your PI's, and come up with a loadout.

    Yeah, I'm saying for everyone that can't DPS now without OP Jackhammer or Roar; "Git Gud" people, it's time to"Git Gud" with your powerset lol.

    yeah well maybe reduce all 100% SC to 50% SC ,i dont know why we went back to 100% SC anyway ...its tedious to work with 100% SC.




    rage is balanced in that way that it has no offensive max range SC and it has to work for the melee SC , it can do good damage or nothing based on luck and player skill plus in hard content u cant use Berserk where actually good performance matters, one could go as far and say Berserk is a fun SC for a fun loadout.

    if u want to reduce its damage potential u would need to increase its range to middle range atleast or Berserk will become a joke of an SC as before revamp.

    Powers are fine but Earth's Jackhammer and Nature's Roar had issues. Nature was the only power I seen where people we're out damaging people without mods in their gear or even full 175 gear.

    Sorcery needs a buff though as I only seen one good build but it was pure precision and weapon focused.

    Hard Light is the power that requires a lot of skill. In my opinion. Hardly is the number power that the best power at single target killing. In a boss fight that is a pure single target. Hard Light will shine greatly. I know because I've been out damaged by an experienced hard light player who single target killed against the bosses of JFA elite. It's great seeing things like this happen. It's also good to have two loadouts. I have an AOE and a Single Target loadout because I know Electric can fall behind on single target fights. Where else, other powers can shine against them.


    Rage and Earth are topping because they can melee the regular raids and everything else. Tell those people to melee elite US or JFA. They can't do it and the powers good at long range will shine.
