I could be wrong about this but I think you guys may be unintentionally burying some announcement posts by posting them as hidden then toggling visibility later in the day.

Many people use the staff post tracker to check for any updates, and toggling visibility does not change the post time. This can make it appear below posts that were made later in the day by devs. For example we see the same dev post on the top as earlier and assume nothing new has been posted/announced.

Main reason I noticed it is that my league uses the forum announcements RSS feed in discord and I've noticed the discrepancies on the RSS bot post time and when certain posts claim to have been posted.

This seems to have become more common with Mepps gone so I'm guessing there may have been some lost knowledge with how he handled posting announcements.

Glad to see the post. I was asking about this not long ago and Multiverse linked a video. I definitely would have seen this today if it was made visible judging by the time of the post. Looking forward to seeing what the team has got going for the upcoming Halloween event.

Will there be a Witching Hour or Halloween Seasonal this year?

Wow, it seems like the development team really put a lot of effort into this update. I'm curious to know who on the dev team came up with these changes. Many players seem to think that the game is starting to resemble Fortnite with these updates. This is DC Universe Online, and it's important that the developers consider the desires of the players when making changes to the game. For example, players have been asking for Superman's slimline style chest for over 10 years, as well as Green Lantern construct and ring glow accessories to change light green and yellow to blue, violet, indigo, and orange. Additionally, a Negative Speed Force movement style and aura would be great to complement the existing material.

It's frustrating that the developers seem to be introducing obscure features that only a small number of players would be interested in. Also, there are concerns about Harley Quinn's voice, which seems to have changed over the years. It's important to maintain consistency in the game, especially with iconic characters like Harley Quinn and Joker. Speaking of the Joker, it's disappointing that the character is not getting the attention he deserves in the game, especially considering the impact Mark Hamill has had on the character's voice. The new DLC featuring Harley being attacked by Apocalypse raises questions about the direction the game is taking with the characters. It feels like there's an overemphasis on Harley and Ivy, with little regard for the Joker's role in the game. This shift seems to be driven by fan preferences rather than a balanced representation of the characters.

Yes, consistency in voices is important.

However...

Harley's VA died. Not a lot the devs can do about that, other than, yaknow, recasting her.

Also Mark Hamill has stopped voicing the Joker (on medical advice) since a couple of years ago. Again, all they can do is recast him.

so about the harleen voice work... I know the original voice actor died... completely understand that.

I do not know however if all the voices of the rest of the work are voiced by the same person... I state this because its "liveable" with in this episode... but that wayne mansion duo and penguin solo are both hard to listen to (and I honestly think it could be the same voice actor but I am openly admitting to possibly being wrong.

Arleen stopped voicing Harley years ago. They had a different voice actress take over for that Wayne Mansion duo, and they were forced to get a new actress for this current episode. You've gotta remember, there was an actor's strike when they were making this episode. They had to settle for what they could get.

It's unlikely they'll be able to get someone like Tara Strong to voice her in future episodes, looking at their budget. Clearly not a secret that their budget has been reduced significantly.

I'm very much aware of the voice actor strike for a variety of reasons... and granted why I have no reason to see why this current game would have brokered a deal to not let it affect them (for a multitude of reasons) I do know in fact some companies did (and the ones that did its not seen as going against the grain per se, since they at least came to the table and offered x). I also think the strike is sad, mostly because they shouldn't have to fight this hard to keep AI from being able to replicate them and get protections.. but I digress that is a whole other topic to begin with.

That being said than I am glad this one is a different voice actor,... I prefer it to the wayne gala (and I also haven't done much in between content enough times to tell you where the voice changes all that... I do know the voice for the wayne stuff was really grating).
