Do you ever feel guilty about picking on noobs?

When I'm a hero, I heal the villain's targets until the villain runs away or dies. I prefer when they die, because I then proceed to dance upon their grave until they rally.

It is their comeuppance for being bad guys.

As a villain I mind my own business, can't find it in me to mess with the good guys.

nope, i enjoy going on my lv 10 villain and killing groups of lv30 heroes.

No regrets. Lowbie hunting is a popular pasttime of mine. It's simply not my problem they choose to try and level in a PvP server, where there will be people like me out and about.

As a villain I do it only when the noob gets brave and hits me. The difference is we don't go around 35 deep and jump on 1 hero. Nor do we camp respawn bubbles like noobs cuz we get our butts whipped in pvp and decide that the only way to dishout pain is to camp low levels and feel like beasts. Do some research on ur hero brothers cuz it's more common to find them killin low lvl villains than it is the other way around.

Hmm, I see your are not on USPC where roving mobs of ganking villains are a natural occurence. They also tend to "raid" PDs more, even with the skewed population balance. Normally, there are nothing but low level noobs dueling each other around the PD in defense gear. That NEVER stops the mob.

It's rare that I would ever go out of my way to kill a low level character... I would rather be making progress on feats...

I will, on occasion, attack LBPD with some mates, though...

Saw this villain getting double-teamed the other day by two heroes near the Metrodome. Flew in and did one Hold Claw, they died together in one hit. I laughed.

I tend not to attack most heroes just because in the pvp phase. Most of the time it is because they attack first and I need to make them suffer for their mistake. Or one has been following me for too long. Usually means they are coordinating an attack.

Hanging too close to an operation boss

I never kill someone who is more than 7 levels under me unless
A: they purposefully attack me first
B: they try to gang up on me
C: they linger around me, trying to sum up whether or not they (and their friends) and take me on
D: I'm in an arena with them (sorry dude, but you signed up for this...)
D: I see them attacking someone of my faction who is significantly weaker than them.
(if I see them attacking someone of my faction of almost the same level, I may damage them a bit to give my teammate the advantage, but then I kinda leave and let it play out)
And honestly, this whole "killing out of spite"/"factionism" thing is just dumb. There are awesome people that deserve respect on both sides. Kindness is key. If you don't show respect, then who will? I am primarily a hero, whereas my girlfriend is primarily a villain. She'll kick my butt and I'll kick her butt and we'll laugh through it over dinner an hour later. We don't T-bag or kill weak people who are just minding their own business or anything like that, and I'd like to think that we help make a good name for our respective factions. Getting legitimately pissed at all about a "cruel" faction in a game shows that one's passion is misplaced. Maybe find a lover?

It's pvp phase.
It was specifically created for attacking and killing the opposite faction.
I don't specifically go looking for low level players, but if I come across them, they go down.
Just the same as any level 30 I might come across.

When you play in pvp phase be ready to die, it's that simple. But I saw people doing what you write about in pve phase and that's just being an a-hole.

It's not like they will lose exp points when they die right?

I used to hunt and kill low level heroes picking on low level villains trying to level up. One time, I stayed for more than an hour around Metro Hospital just to assist those low level villains with the missions without unruly heroes getting in their way.

No I don't go lowbie hunting in pvp phase. I stay in the pve phase but I do get quite a few lowbies who want to duel me. I usually turn it down unless they get very annoying and they get what is coming to them....hero or villain

I kill only if they start....

im a defensive pvpers...usually when im hanging round chinatown PD im looking for trouble passively, i wont kill you unless you bug me or attack me then turn your back to me, or its a name that causes seething rage to flow through my loins

and if i get ganked by enough heros then for awhile, your faction caused me agony now YOU CAN HAVE IT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!

but after leveling up 2 characters on each side, i found villians are alot more tolorant of the opposite factions presence, you can go up to villians bases and just hang for abit if the bases population doesnt exceed 7-8 players usually

heros will attack you usually 9/10 times, level 30s will go for kills and lower levels will go in for test punches to see if your health moves to determine to continue attacking or stop, you move out of radar/line of sight of a PD and heros most heros wont continue to persue

I always wonder... what kind of loser needs to go around killing low level players???

Even worse when I see a whole group of level 30 killing low level characters.

What losers need to do this to feel important???

If you had not guessed already.... I don't go hunt new players. Heck I sometimes even will help them out if I can.

What is the point of killing a level 5 player when you are level 30??
