    good to hear. havnt got round to the T5 raids yet. i was thinking along the same lines and also using the personal dampening feild while out of rage.

    Hmm, my brother was telling me that my ability to hold aggro last night was pretty bad. I was using ragebringer and retch. I noticed it as well in the duos we ran, but thought it was just me learning new timing.

    come to think of it i had a bit of trouble with atrocitis and bleez with trying to get agro back on them after they went after the group. i asumed that was just the mechanics of the fight though.

    would you say you could get by just by buffing your health? or did you have to absolutely use your rage mode with a cancel of rage crash?

    Hi Skyfall, Can you provide some more info about how the heartbeat is inconsistent? Do you hear it when you stand still but not when you activate redirected rage or other rage crash countdown ability while lunging or getting knocked back? Are you hearing the music, ambient sounds, and non-Comm VO dropping out when the heartbeat plays. Do you still hear those other sounds drop out even when the heartbeat doesn't play? Is the visual effect playing but you don't hear the heartbeat, or are you not seeing the visual effect play as well? We have fixed some bugs with the heartbeat sound, and are looking into some others that are being fixed, but we want to make sure that there aren't other issues that we just haven't seen yet. Any info you can provide would be most welcome. We'll try to get the heartbeat playing consistently and messaging well as quickly as we can.

    Can we bring the cooldown on say revenge down to like frost snipe levels and buff the initial non combo damage to match?
    It's just right now I'm not seeing any viable pvp tank loadouts there's nothing to consistently clip with that doesn't have a crazy cooldown timer while in tank stance, something that's good to clip with and frontloads all the damage would be appreciated.

    Is there a reason that the powers that don't cancel or block rage crash also have long cool downs? We need at least one power to clip with in tank stance for arenas.

    yeah so, ragebringer doesnt taunt at all... just done Arkham asylum, ragebringer'd all i could, mobs flew everywhere but towards myself, aggro went to the dps or trollers...

    My only disappointment, and it is a big one, is that the powers do not combo into each other as Light power does. You have a fixed combo with each power so getting chains going (like P-Ran, whipthrash, fan for example) is not possible.

    It feels limiting to the damage potential.Especially with what seems like a 15% nerf to Dreadful/Plasma combo.

    The only suggestion I have would be the cooldowns on the the rage crash cancel moves.
    They should only have the cooldown if you have Relentless Anger or Severe Punishment activated.
    If they're not you should be able to use the powers that cancel the crash freely.
    This would help rage tanks a lot in pvp.

    Noticed, during AnB final fight, had Rage Mode up and was absorbing the hits. Suddenly, a hit for 34k came across the screen and one shot me. Happened twice. Didn't show on my log. Just out of nowhere a 30k hit and dead. I wasn't crashing, I had just started the rage mode and was maybe one-two seconds in.
    Also. Noticing that I'm firing off my cancels on time, but still taking the damage. As if the cancels aren't working.
    Anyone else noticing these things?

    I feel like the rage Reduction moves are NOT functioning properly. I tested it in a duel today, while having a rage reduction move up and hitting Severe punishment and my friend hit me twice and My rage crash damaged me for EXACTLY what he hit me for. The rage crash ignore moves are working like a charm.

    Inescapable storm has taunt issues and the way it works is essentially a copy/paste of that...Maybe theyll actually address it

    Id like to see the Rage mechanic adjusted slightly

    A. "Crash over time" - Your rage pool would essentially be broken up and become Damage over time should you not hit your combo on time...This would mean you wouldnt automatically wipe your raid group and your healer would have a chance to heal through it...Still probably wouldnt save you

    B. Allow a portion the damage in your crash pool to be healed - Not the whole thing necessarily, but it seems completely pointless that if a healer is able to heal you before your rage mechanic is, that it goes completely to waste...Maybe cap the healing of the crash at 25-35% of your total rage crash pool?

    Just throwing out ideas that came up in league today

    I've been using Ragebringer to pull adds to me followed up by Without Mercy, which is similar to Backdraft. Aggro issues solved.

    Why are you not able to be healed when in rage mode. You take a lot of damage and most of the time in assaultand battery the tank will die because he has takin much more damage than possible before healing it back. It doesn't make since when you can heal any other tank when they activate their main power but not when a rage tank does

    As well, the move ragebringer seldomly pulls aggro and when it does, I loose it very quickly and thats in my t5 88 and 90cr gear expert moded with dom and health.

    Ran into this today. Couldn't keep Bleez and Atrocitus on me, so we thought there was a bug and our ice DPS used his armory to tank the fight. He couldn't hold aggro on them any better.

    Not sure why you think you can't be healed. Healer heals were healing me just fine, the problem is they pale in comparison to the heavy damage getting healed from Rage mode, especially when you buff yourself to insanely high levels.

    From experience and talking with people on live and test, Ice tanks have a harder time making the switch than Fire or Earth tanks do. The same thing happened when Earth came out, because Fire at the time was the squishiest tank. It simply has to do with playstyle and habits.

    Granted, you can't play Rage like any of the other three tanks in the game, but Ice has nothing in common with Rage while at least Earth and Fire have some similarities. Rage plays closest to Fire, even more so for the few of us that were fire tanks prior to Update 6, over two years ago.
