DLC8 power- Celestrial Confirmed- Holy & Dark powers

Why not drop your sub at the tank power set reveal? There was no way a might and mastery set would be a healer powerset(if they pulled that off i would never question their creativity again). Although it is likely that atomic will be the tank powerset, it very well may be based more of the atom and feature growing powers witch could be substitute for for super strength.

am I the only person who thought it was ridiculous that ppl thought water would be the PowerSet for this dlc? The concept of water doesn't really seem interesting to me. I'm sure if they make it a power it might be cool...but.....water is last on my list of powers I want to see.

1. Allies spelled with 3 L's
2. Zoom in to see photoshop traces.
3. Usually powers are organized in alphabetical order, and this time celestial is after quantum.

u don't know that yet ravens powers are dark and it says dark as raven can also heal so don't think ur out of luck yet I think its based on hero sides light for good dark for bad maybe

This is THE Raven powerset.

It's 100% the Raven powerset.

It perfectly reflects two different phases of her career: starting with the time at the beginning of her time with The New Teen Titans (say 1980-1984ish), where she wore the dark cloak and her powers had a very black (bordering on evil) feel to them. Despite their dark origin, she still used these demonic powers to Heal her teammates.

After defeating Trigon (post-1984ish), she tapped into the holy power of Azarath and Azar, her mentor (and basically a goddess). Her costume turned white, her soul-self turned white and she began to use her powers in a much more 'blessed' manner.

Since then, she's died and has been resurrected and has been stuffed into the New 52 ... and her powers have evolved and gone back and forth between demonic and holy depending on the writer and the situation. (Heck, the animated series made her a shadow-based telekinetic for crying out loud - even though she'd never evidenced such control before that in the comics. Once that incarnation became popular, she evolved yet again in the source material).

If there's some sort of 'Soul Self' pet in the Celestial powerset ... you can make a perfect version of Raven from either era. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that Celestial is true to the character and the IP like no other powerset before it.

So... let's get Raven in Legends now please : )

Was there an estimated release date for this DLC?

well they always like putting dlc's out about 3 months from each other. last one was officially released may 14 so around aug 14 would be 3 months, but it sounds like it might be a couple of weeks more than that.

in the fnl vid, jens and mepps said they'd show off lots of stuff in SOE Live and then keep giving us info "in the weeks to come before release". So if SOE live is next week and the release is still a few weeks after that i'd say somewhere between the 20th and the 30th of august would be a good bet.

I agree. Keep in mind, there will most likely be GU29 before the DLC, so at least 3 weeks from now (seems about the minimum between game updates). I suspect we'll likely know more during SOE Live.

I hope the joker gets some type of feature in the upcoming new dlcs. I'm a tech villain and my wing is always empty...

i no fanboy of dc i ove the game, but hate supermn, I see that most powerfull persons in this universe is angels (miguel) and demons( lucifer morning star), no ike marvel.
This caracter are celestials i belive that trigon a demon too, i dont know spectre, he dont demon or ange but work directly to voice (god). Revena no is a celestia ike say DC she is a "plane touched".
Because of this they say that power in specia is OP, celestial create the reality of dc. Then i belive that this power have a less of other power

I can tell once celestial is on the test servers, the price of white auras and purple auras will soar.
