Sounds like you've never read a comic book in your life. If anything Iron Man would have the disadvantage because of his suit, Superman could crush the metal, trapping Tony inside. With Batman in his own suit he is far more nimble and agile.

yup guilty as charge i play dcuo not cause i like comics but f2p lol and from a non comic book perspective batman does not belong in the realm of super power beings cause hes just a man who is physically breakable not that the super power beings arent but there more indestructible that a mere man who can die in a few seconds in a fight with god like ppl. Tony stark has a suit a super power suit that has weapons and stuff and i think he can last a tad longer the batman but there both mere man tossed in a world with super power beings that to any mere mortals would look like gods.

I dare say it but I may finally be giving sorcery healing a rest..... C'mon celestial!!!!! Woot!

It's not about power. It's about being tactical and Batman definitely has more of that than most dc heroes/villains.

So that means I can be a Celestial spirit mage like Lucy Heartfilia?! I want my keys.

Batman can be all tactics and whatever, the fact is he will lose against power types like superman doomsday shazam trigon green lanterns and other power type characters. Hes a mere human not a superpower one just a mere mortal one.

Sounds like sorcery is going to be an endangered species.

So.... In your comment Mepps, you said it isn't "VERY MUCH" like Sorcery. Does that mean it still is a bit like Sorcery? I mean I guess we'll get more info on FNL and SOE Live so I can wait, just wanted to ask.

Hopefully it's like Raven's powers?

I have a few gripes with this.

Firstly can i just say i find the fact that Mepps had to say "its not very much like Sorcery" hilarious
That means it is like sorcery but not that much.

(Also quote me now , f theres a rehashed healing circle which is white instead of purple people are gonna raagggeee,)

Plus Sorcery is magic and it says right there in the power description "Cleansing holy magic"

Also from what i know celestial has nothing to do with evil or dark holy rituals. Its all about divine and heavenly powers/magic.
I could be wrong but thats what ive always been shown.

Infact Sorcery is the practice of dark/black magic.

Therefore Celestial seems to be the opposite go to power for people that want to be heroes and want a magic power set.

As from beta i have always thought Sorcery is way too dark for a hero to have. I mean a hero walking around with some demon head or evil eye following it? Uh Uh , nope doesn't work for me.

The answer to this would have been the logical thing to do (which i have stated many times) is that from launch there should have been 2 choices for each power. Good and evil , you know like the green ring for heroes and the yellow ring for villians.

But nope , that didnt happen because as usual instead of doing the most obvious thing.....

SOE logic : Lets introduce something later in the game that should have really been there from day 1.

Also on final thought , im not saying the power is gonna suck before its been released. Hell i honestly think its gonna rock , considering every new power has been awesome in my opinion.

I do however worry that its going to be the good version of sorcery and cause us to see alot of complaining and rage quitters.

Anyways heres to look forward to DLC8!!

Sorcery is conjuring and black magic. In terms of the magic world it's closer to necromancy. Humans messing in the dark arts. Celestial is more like divine granted powers. Like a cleric. At least if we're putting them in terms of the fantasy genre. Same kinda applies to magic heroes.

He's already beaten people like Superman lots of times.
