    It is the same as War of the Light Part 1 Operations, Halls of Power Part 1 Operation and any other Operation with open world in that: it is fun to run (for me at least and others I know) and it is unlikely to be removed because it is attached to feats. Running in that area would be no different than running the solos as those players on the same platform.

    I does suck for playing on the PS3 but I don't see it changing.

    The adds at the entrance is a separate issue. However looking at the Intergang Crimewave when entering the first instance it also has adds around the entrance and has not changed. I'd agree on this part but I also see it likely to be changed.

    Speaking as a troll; This has NEVER been an issue, even with ICW, where the adds were somewhat further away.
    The answer is TEAMWORK, people! I'll spell it out:
    STEP1: Tank, pullem.
    STEP2: Troll, Stun them.
    STEP3: Everyone, stroll on in.

    Class dismissed.

    Two Seperate leauge groups ran it yday and beat it handsomely but, i'm actually suprised, for the first time in a long time we got a raid which is not fool proof. Need strats need coordination need to block from time to time and that option to fight WW and Carol together is neat. The adds in the last boss fight with their mechanic also a big plus, shame thy're not there trough the course of the raid.
    What I absolutely hate is the open world portion ;C

    Overall I'd say it's a nice step up from the HoP raids, still not inspiring the same feelings as the OC raids, but fun to run in it's own way.

    Btw.. Rage Tanks are virtually immortal gods in there lol.

    Beat it last night with my league. :D


    For the first room is Hal Jordan suppose to enter the fight? Because he the door closes and just stays outside with Sinestro having a tea party while we wipe and wipe until we finally beat it. Also not sure if this is a bug but at the Wonder Woman fight we beat her everyone got just marks while i got a weapon...a belt...and shoulders.o_O 3 pieces of gear for one boss?

    OVerall it is a cool raid, had a funny moment where we talked to hal and fought both WW and Carol at same time! Yeah, we learned not to talk to Hal again. :oops: And 2 tanks come in handy especially in the last room with 2 healers. Good job devs!

    When I put my cursor over the soders in the repairbot, it told me that the soders were Bound to various Armories. Mind, not after buying any soders. I merely would put my cursor over the offer to sell them.

    Ran this just about an hour ago. During the outside part we had another group there. I'm on a PS4 and my HUD was literally flickering like crazy. Had to look up to correct it for awhile. Had flashbacks of when Dawn was outside.

    You are 104, this is what you should look forward too, also seems like this is your first DLC, so just so you know DLC content never has lower tier instances, so either do the current tier the DLC is, or don't do anything on it.

    First boss fight needs a warning when she's going to do the one turn kill.

    After destroying the crystals and the lanterns in the open world, whoever activates the defeated lantern receives the counter, the other groups don't, so it starts again that groups will split up and simply try to steal the activation.
    Because of this some groups need to do many more quest objectives than 3.
    The same problem exists also in the open world mission with the rifle, only the first one to use the first skill onm the defeated lantern receivs a count while the rest get nothing.

    Other than that nice raid;)

    Raid is very easy imo. Not as difficult as Lockdown iMO which is ok I guess when there is only 1 8 man content in the dlc, they need everyone to be able to beat it, but I'm not as impressed by the mechanics of the raid as everyone else.

    Zatanna fight you can just have one dps target the Champion and kill it and after you kill 2-3 of them they are no longer in the fight at all. A dps with good burst and a melee WM combo can continually counter the champion and easily kill it solo.

    The WW fight is literally just a mic check. Can you hear your group? Good you can beat the boss. My only gripe on WM is,and I didn't get to test this so correct if I'm wrong, prec dots from rage,hl, or celestial set off her bracers most likely so how are those three dpses supposed to manage this fight? Celestial has a constant prec dot they keep up and so does HL so I'm curious for those players that did the raid as those powers did you find yourself screwed in the WW fight?

    And finally Carol, basically just tank and spank with another "mic check" mechanic. The introduction of the special adds that have different effects is ok but honestly the only one that does much of anything is the Vexer. The other ones are just standard tank and spank no issue. We 2 tanked the end and all I did as Rage was pull all adds to me and just sit there buffing my health and holding the adds. The lasso lunge is ok too but again very simple.

    Can we please have some more creative mecha nice in future raids? It's seems you are stuck on making mechanics that don't require any specific roles to complete them. They are either very generalized like the champion mechanic or just simple block or be one shotted mechanics. Where are the stacking debuffs on a tank that require we use those single target taunts you gave us to switch boss tank? Where is a mechanic that forces a controller to stun adds or debuff a certain attack or boss? All I'm asking for is role specific mechanics to freshen the experience for support roles. This stuff is nice, it's better than oneshots and high health but it's till too simplistic and boring imo.

    On a positive note the raid visually is amazing. That goes for all the new locations, I just am looking for a little more of a mental challenge when playing.

    1) I tried the Zamaron alert twice on villain side. Both times we beat Harley, then wiped at Catwoman. And when we returned to Catwoman she had mysteriously turned into Harley, which was easier than the Catwoman fight.

    2) I jumped in a "last boss" group for Love and War (villain side still) and we couldn't beat it. I tried from the start with a good group, and we couldn't beat the first boss. I read some tips for Zatanna, but can anyone please explain how to beat the last boss? Every time she one shots, most of the group goes down. There's no way to pick up everyone. One or more people is out, and now its even harder. Hard is great, as long as its doable, but I can't figure it out.

    Just block if it's not the "purple beams" and lunge her if it is. Blocking let's your survive the one shot from her so call it out.

    That's the point, if they didn't block that's their fault. Tell them to block next time.

    Well, actually depending on your latency (or luck), blocking doesn't always work. I can certainly say that I've blocked Carol's attack 100% of times during a fight, but I'll still get knocked out 2 or 3 times (with full health).

    Oh, and about the pink tendrils/tentacles attack, can anyone lunge her or only the ones affected by the attack? That's the main reason I keep getting knocked out (or a Vanguard getting too close to comfort).

    Another thing, I just wish Brick's AI got better.h When I'm tanking, he'll constantly get killed by Wonder Woman when she pops her bracers or when Carol does her special attack, he doesn't block or stops attacking. The only way to give him better odds of surviving is shielding him just before the attack and having a totem right next to the boss, but most of the time they do their special attacks when fortify golem's still on cooldown.

    Yes anyone can and right not yes some people(usually dpses) can still be knocked out while blocking. 1 piece of gear should be enough to survive next time your in there.

    As coincidence has it, I just worked on a change so that player pets will take much less damage from Carol's Absolute Devotion attack. It should be coming to the live servers with an upcoming update.

    Could this be one of the V-Star Sapphires? As far as I know the Vexer does this power-drain bubble, I'm pretty sure there is a damage/defense debuff version of this add as well. Most of the times blocking should be enough. And, oh well, Fortified Blocking of course.
