Since playing the game since launch, I've been always curious to know what are the base critical percentages for our characters are and how much the weapon innates increase them by. Especially since UD 25, myself and several friends have noticed decreases in criticals whether it be healing or damage out. Haven't noticed a decrease power out criticals though. Which starts the question, what are even our base critical statistics to start with. How do we even know if changes are made we don't even know what they are. I'm sure the numerous people on the forums would love to fill in the variables for the guide charts to if we knew what our base criticals are and the increases to them. I've played 1 or 2 other MMORPG's and seen criticals as a statistic so you knew what percent attacks, heals or whatever would crit or take affect. Thoughts, comments, questions, concerns?
Great idea ,will be cool if we can know the critical stats (critical attack damage/chance and critical healing magnitude/chance) .
Seems kind of pointless to know since we can't boost it in anyway other than sp. If we could mod it or had it on our gear then sign me up for this band wagon.
Yea but again it's just an innate I can choose to have or not. It isn't like other games where the gear has crit on it as a base stat and I can choose to load up on it like I can with precision or might.
Btw WL, No decrease in crit but you don't get that big eplosion around your number. You just see a number with a larger font.
Was aware of the Critical Bubble graphic being removed , but in terms of might critical damage out, noticed a small nerf. The nerf was in relation to previous damage done before UD 25 to post UD 25. Just expected to see bigger criticals with the added weapon innates towards might. BTW i didn't do any graphs or statics on how might is scaled towards damage out, I'll leave that headache to you ...lol. This was just a observation that lead to me posting the thread.
+1 from me. I see no reason why it's not unless there's some secret buff/debuff that they don't want us to know about.
you can boost you criticals with certain powers like Fire's Fiery Weapon, Electricity's Wired -i believe-, and Earth's Reinforced. Supports roles like Nature and sorcery can increase the critical magnitude and chance on healing as well, so................
Still is a buff that dedicate players want to know what the increase is. Maybe new trinkets come along that have longer timed buffs, HEY there's a thought........
Well, our specs can change, SP/PP, there's more than one type of crit (Power/Heal/Damage) and stat associated with it (Magnitude/Chance), also certain powers/trinkets temporarily increase them, just because we don't have any new crit mods doesn't mean we won't have any more (the next DLC is about League HQ's and specs.... last time a DLC brought that (DLC6)) it brought with it mods, there' plenty of our gear that doesn't have a second mod yet, or colas, or plans we just straight haven't seen yet. More numbers are better. Always.
