Devs: Why won't you live stream anymore?

Well in 2023 in the graphics update hopefully they switch to ue4 or if we're very lucky ue5

Its a common misconception actually. The devs said that there will be a client upgrade for next gen consoles. That simply means that the game will be native for Ps5 for example.
That doesnt necessarily include any noticeable changes right off the bat for us players.

It opens up the opportunity for them to built on that foundation to improve loading times etc but a graphics upgrade is a whole differnet thing.

The Ps5 client was originally scheduled for late 2021. It officially got postponed over a year and that was before the dev shortage happened.

So, even if we get the next gen client this year, its more than unlikely we get a graphics upgrade in 2023 or even 2024, unless its just going to be some minor adjustments wich wouldnt be called a graphics upgrade by most players.

Its the sad truth we have to face.

You are certainly right, in any case, for my part, I stopped believing in their announced date for things of this kind, we all saw what it gave with the water power, since that day, I tell myself that the rest will be the same 3/4 of the time x) and there, considering all the reshuffling of employees and see some leader probably, I tell myself that it is not going to go in arranging itself, for some time still

It's a good way to avoid any frustration or anger and let's not hide either, with MMORPGs these last few years it's happening more and more like that too !^^
