Devs, when will the Anniversary Event hit the test server?

It's usually on the test server around this time. I'm assuming the reason is that since its the 10th anniversary they have something special planned and don't wish to reveal it yet, but I'm not certain.

Most likely they will put it up just before Christmas.

We’ve been lead to believe that this event will be new in some way, that one guy that might be new or never post made it seem like its some exciting stuff... hopefully its not the same old thing from previous years for us but new to him because he doesn’t know anything ab the game

I actually hope they don't put it on test and that they just drop it so that it's a genuine surprise for everyone.

Well, yes, 1000 additional bugs, this will be a great surprise, right? .... to be honest, I never understood what is so attractive about a surprise ... when everything goes according to plan, this is great ... surprise? sucks ....

As if we don't already get enough bugs when DLCs or Events are tested.

It's going to be bugged regardless, Playstation is the true test server.

It the same event we have every year, January,
Same quests and instance. What is it to test??

They usually put new content on Test about 2 weeks before they intend for it to go Live.

The devs have been throwing hints all year and people have drawn the conclusion that there will be new stuff.

Well, over the last couple of updates, I have found at least a couple of bugs that were successfully fixed before the content was released on the live server. So at least there will be a couple of errors less ... of course 998 is not very noticeable, but still less than 1000

you will be surprised, but I don’t remember a single event where there would have been no errors initially (for example, in the winter event, one feat did not work on the test server ...)

I don't personally believe we're getting any new content. Probably just a lot of exciting rewards and gifts. Also hopefully news for what to expect in 2021.

I've not been around in the last couple of anniversary event testing and DLCs for that matter.

Do they drop content and do updates during their break period? I'll be honest, I don't remember testing much of Anniversary events in general. lol

Also, surprises could also mean more than just content. What they gift us might be more of what they are expecting. We should know more by Christmas.

I thought Mepps mentioned "new anniversary content" during the last live stream. As mentioned earlier this might mean a new (ugh!) bounty but considering it's the big 1-Oh anniversary I'm hoping it's actual new missions and such.

Question was would the anniversary seasonal January event be on the test server in a few days.

Well I went to the testing feedback forum
Then noticed
1) December 2019, there wasn't a testing of the anniversary seasonal
2) January 2020, went went straight to LIVE.
3) I notice from the forum, testing it went down for December 2019 til January 2020 , but went back in January, for the february seasonal event to be on test servers.
