Devs QoL: Can We Not Go to the WT/HOD Pretty Please?

The WT and HOD are always so congested and cause so much lag... would it ever be possible to just have the seasonal missions (except for the first one, or maybe 1 time a week if you want) show up in our journal and not have to physically go to the WT and speak to Poison Ivy/Swamp Thing, Mxy, Mr. Freeze, etc...?

That would be so beautiful, honestly.

You mean there's a problem with masses of AFK players around the starting toon and his/her vendor?

It makes it a quest itself attempting to find a spot close enough to each spot to activate the activation press.

Good thing there arent different phases. Oh wait.....

Good thing I can swap those phases at will because they didn't screw up phasing during OC... Oh wait...

This could be really awesome.

But, if it's too much work, I'll just take the journal mission popping up. It's exactly the same thing we get everytime a new episode launches with event content (like this last one had Mera or Ocean Master instructing you to head to Central City, etc.), so we'd still get the voice over minus the long, uninterruptible video and the crazy lag present in the hub areas.

I think they could fix all of this by creating a teleporter mod for "current seasonal"

Odd that the OP finds the Watchtower and HOD crowded.

Every second day another person starts a thread on these forums complaining that "the game is dead" and the "Watchtower and HOD are deserted".

Maybe they are playing in an alternate reality?

If possible, maybe put the seasonal mission within the events tab like the seasonal alert is. That way you can activate/reset it whenever you want.

Heck I know I stopped myself from resetting the seasonal mission simply because I didn't want to go through several loading screens to do so.

Most of the people saying the game is dead are the same that refuse to leave PvP phase.

I'm SHOOK! this the best ideal of 2018. I forgot we even had these in the safehouses, we used them a couple times then nothing else from it.

No please. If we are to rejuvenate PvP we need more player interactions not less.

I'm not one of those people. I still find more than enough people to cause huge amounts of lag.

Maybe you're in an alternate reality, lol. Or you play at 5 a.m. Or you're on EU, that's a distinct possibility.

What does PVP have to do with anything? If people want open world pvp or dueling, there's the PVP phase for that. The fact it's usually empty should tell how interested many players are in that.

The issue here is one of convenience (i.e. not wasting time physically traveling to a specific area of the WT/east end police station/etc.), less lag, less confusion for new players, etc.

If people want to PVP, they can still hang out in the WT, this doesn't affect them in the least.

Add random ppl to your friends list. Use them to phase

Yeah... I think you missed my point. During OC they adjusted how phases work. So even if you try to friend random strangers (which you don't have to do, BTW. Just phase with.) You will almost always be in the same phase. So unless there was a boom in phases due to a busy event, you are almost always sol.

I have to agree about the op about having in our journal. How many more times do I have to hear swamp thing or mxyplzk say the same lines just to do the event?
