Devs, a new powerset would be nice, and critical to the game's continued longevity

The ONLY time new power sets made sense, financially, was back when the game was a Retail Release that had to be PURCHASED, and the new power sets were in DLCs that ALSO had to be purchased! At least then, players had to either buy that content to play that content, or be a Subscriber to have access to it, so the development costs could be recovered over time.

But once they went to "ALL new content is Free-To-Play for EVERYONE" that permanently killed the possibility of new power sets. Now stop beating the dead horse, at this point, it's already chunky salsa.

I'm not asking for a whole new powerset to be developed. I'm asking for some dev time (minimal, hopefully) to be spent on creating a new powerset which can then be released to the public in bite-sized chunks of $80 each. Less than a wolf-pack token, but more than a standard DLC in cost.

Yeah.... go back and look up what DLCs for this game USED to cost when you had to buy them. Some of the ones that granted new Power Sets were as low as $5.00 US, and some players didn't even want to pay that!

Your suggestion, if implemented, would be a dismal failure and a MASSIVE waste of development resources. How many times must you be told this by the Devs themselves before it finally gets through your thick skull and sinks in that this is what the reality of the situation actually is?

But here's the good news: There ARE, in fact, other MMORPGs out there which you can go play RIGHT NOW, some of which are bound to do things in a way that's more to your liking! And hey, if we're all super-duper lucky, City of Titans (the successor to City of Heroes and City of Villains) just might actually make its way through development sometime this century!

Its currently like 10 dollars to unlock powers that wasn't part of the og game. At this point there isn't much that would get me to spend a cent on this game. I used to spend 200.00 a month on this game and spent well over 2,000 on wolfpacts 18 on the week the came out with them. I haven't spent anything but a sub in over a year now and it's because I am tired of crappy batman tc and the sudden cost increase of everything they produced. I have come to hate any rng casinos system and have decided that I'd be happy buy stuff i want straight up on final fantasy 14 mogstation flate out even if it's character only and not account bound bound and 18 dollars.
