I love this pushing of legendary benefits you guys have been doing lately. Keep it up, and get some of these stubborn people to sub. More subs = less petty money grabs.

Yeah because OP pieces should be very easy to get....I don't even understand your argument...don't make it difficult to obtain the OP items because every player won't be able to get them?

OP pieces are supposed to be very difficult to earn, not easy in the slightest. Just run some Duos for an OP piece....really?

Yeah I guess all of us members should have quit when premium had open episodes for large portions of last year and legendary members didn't get a single extra benefit to compensate for Daybreak giving away what we pay monthly to have access to.

My favourite part of your post though is when you claim to spend 1,000 dollars/monthly on this game but for some reason can not purchase a membership. Any excuse you tell me will be utterly ridiculous so please don't bother.

If all 3 OP items are 174 IL then new max cr would be 192. I used the calculator

The #1 question for me is will subbed players be able to finish everything in the event w/out spending even more money on replays. The way i see all of this is 1-2 dlcs/episodes per year is less content. Events in between still mean less content annually. But then if we need to be subbed for an event and also be required to use replays to finish the rewards? I wont even be playing out the remaining time on my sub if thats the case. Because that is giving us less but charging us more. No 2 ways about it. I will wait to see the details 2mor in the stream or when they are announced. But the oh shiny new aura or new op item does nothing for me. I question why we need a 6th 164 gear set? Why we need OP items? Why we need a dmg bonus for this event? All that stuff to me is the incentive but as far as progression goes its not NEEDED. But before its said these events are progression but today they arent. I guess what exactly are end game players who finished AF3 getting out of this? Besides a few feats. And that is worth the price of a sub?

I do believe the should be obtainable tho, I like the way they are with collections and marks. We now have a choice to grind an save for OP gear an we can buy missing collections from broker. I have had horrible luck with the collections but still got them this way.

sure GL getting then in two months if they are tied to collections,or good luck playing the broker paying 1m for each piece of the colletion lol,wonder how you will get the OP piece in case it is not tied to a collection after the event ends...hm..broker? where? if it is on vendor and not tied to a collection tell me please where you gonna get it,right nowhere,but i won't lose my time with you really is not my problem if people like to spend RBs to get OP pieces.

don't expect then to allow people to get OP pieces without replay badges.

maybe its old school op gear that has great stats but low cr.

I would try it out and I only gave a like for effort that you guys are bringing more content and styles, but you guys seem to forget the core that made this game fun to me, let me illustrate. Central city trinkets, pets, new abilities as a member, option to change the colors of our powers, and the option for members to make there toons to appear huge in size compare to other players, that's it.

but only because in the closing cut scene as we defeat starro it would be AWESOME if dream showed up to turn him into a bauble for his home and nothing else.

While we the players are allowed to provide feedback and occasionally get asked to participate in surveys or votes for certain things, it's not the way things work when it comes to content creation and big picture decisions. The Creative Director and Lead Producer get together with writers to come up with DC comics approved stories and events for the game and then it gets implemented at some point. They cannot, and will not put this process through player voting procedures because it will bring content creation to a screeching halt. Players on the forums can hardly agree on anything, and you want to put content ideas through a voting process...that's insanity. That's never been the way it works around here, and Zod willing, it never will be.

Second, we NEED an infusion of fresh ideas and characters from all corners of DC's vast and rich comic book history. The holy trinity (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman) and their cast are fantastic...but we can only tap that well so many times before it runs dry. There so many characters that were pivotal in the history of our favorite heroes...so why not bring them to the fans of old and the newer fans who don't know them? At the end of the day not everyone will like everything, but how about trying the content before condemning it just because it doesn't feature the same tired characters and stories you expect?

umm.... then what gear level will we be working for in the new duo, alert, and raid if not higher than 165 lvl ???? if you're saying its all scaled to 164 lvl at the highest, than.... we've already had that for almost a year now...

on a side note, i and probably most others didn't really care about 165 lvl gear, we only cared to grind for the 50pt feat..

It could be. Let me rephrase what i was trying to say too. What i meant was this is an event, not an episode. To get the reward ya gotta be subbed. Fine. But is that enough to finish the rewards? Just being subbed i mean. If it isnt and replays are required then i say to myself hmm gotta sub for an event and then spend even more money? On something that isnt "core progression" and isnt an episode? I see many problems with that. And i question what will be required for the next episode? Sub, replays and keys? But i cant make a judgement until i see the details that were said today. Also i find it odd the detail of how the 8 player part functions for level 10 and up and end game version was left out. The only way i see that working is if the end game version can only be run once a week and the other version is daily.

A Starro invasion has been up there pretty much since launch. There are a few other content requests that at this point should be considered "universal":

1)The Crime Syndicate
2)The Legion of Super heroes
3)Lobo

I would say these are the top three player requested story ideas.

Starro would rank in on the lower end of a top ten if there were such along with captain marvel/marvel family content, Aquaman/Atlantis content, bringing Firestorm into the game and non Trigon related titans content.

My own personal fave would be to bring in the doom patrol. Danny the Street would make an amazing event. Hes a teleporter. We could start the event off with trying to find where hes hiding in gotham and metropolis...

Please, don't make this a premium vs legendary, your argument reigns nothing over premiums who have spent just as much as you or more and vice versa, the open episodes benefited free players more than premiums and that's a fact.

These kinds of ultimatums are pointless. While member perks are not factually diminishing, they have seriously lost its luster with a very vocal portion of the player base. Jacks has figured out a nice incentive to make membership MORE attractive, instead of essentially throwing a tantrum why not come up with an alternative suggestion that makes membership feel more worthwhile??? If you can't be bothered to do that, you forfeit the right to tell the company that what they've chosen to do is a bad idea.
