Only seen two episodes so far, wouldn't call it a 'political show' though, apart from the fact it deals with the lose of 99% of the US Government Have already figured out who was really responsible (not that they hid it very well ), and Bauer seems to be settling in to the Oval Orifice nicely
We already had a good idea that the General was in on the 'attack', now beginning to wonder about the head of the FBI: Agent Q just brought him prove that the surviving congressman's 'survival' was staged, and he tells her to tell no-one and basically do nothing President Bauer needed to hear from that SEAL that his orders were the correct ones and they, including the SEAL who didn't survive, don't hold him responsible
I saw the only 2 seasons they made. Was disappointed they didn’t make Atleast one more. I thought the show was really good. Sometimes over the top and corny but still caught my attention. I suppose after watching someone like Frank Underwood from House of Cards be President it’s just interesting to see a complete opposite character be Pres.
Oh, it's a what-if government type of show? Nah, not for me. The title sounds like a spoof movie of "Final Destination".
Yeah, it posits the 'what if 99% of the US Government is killed in a terrorist attack?', butt that's not all it's about: it deals with family life (how he and his family cope with usual family problems compounded with suddenly becoming the First Family), it deals with politics (and the usual backstabbing), it is also a crime drama (trying to figure out how the Capital Building was blown up, and by whom) The title comes from the fact that, when the Government meets, two members (one from each party) are randomly selected and moved to a safe location in case of a situation like this: if 99% of the Government suddenly dies, there needs be someone to take over in the ensuing chaos
Cereally? "Foreigners blew up the Capital, let's close the borders and kick out anyone who is not native!" Yeah, does that include you and your family you racist piece of crapburger?
And that 'Catalan' guy, that the FBI database has no record of, we saw him during that episode, at least, he was listed in the credits Wait, he was the soldier delivering the meals? Knew there was something 'off' about him
