So I bought a PS card and bought a bunch of Booster Bundles. I got a couple of Tungsten Metallics, a Chrome Metallic a Green Metallic and a Yellow Aura.... then came the clincher! I got the Cosmic Chroma Pack! It can't be sold but it can be traded (or sold on the broker!) problem is, no one is selling them ON the broker (or I they are, the pack sells at light speed! The point is, it's not there and so I can't get a baseline on how much to sell it for The second option is of course to keep it and give it to one of my 32 characters.... Yeah, but which one? My green Lantern would be a good choice But I really have him right the way I want him. On the other hand I considered my Batman inspired hero. Cosmic Material would bring a fun sort of literal translation to him saying "I AM THE NIGHT!" I mean, there's no wrong answer but at the same time, having only the one, I don't want to use it on a character and find out later it would have been better on someone else!
Evidently people are selling it via chat for over a billion in order to circumvent the max amount on the broker.
My recommendation, hold on to it for a little while. You may find in a future capsule that there's an item or two that might be worth trading for that, or a resurgence event with several items that someone might trade for the one Cosmic Chroma box. If you hold on to it for a while but later on decide to keep it, you lose nothing other than a little bit of time using it. As for broker pricing, yeah, when it does make it in there for the 1 billion minus a dollar broker limit it flies out QUICKLY. From what i've heard it's selling anywhere between 1.2bil to 3bil. I believe my leaguemate sold one for 1.5bi. Edit: If you're not greedy and wish to avoid possibly being robbed in a trade, sell it in the broker for the max limit. If you know you can actually trust the person you're doing the trade-sale with, go right ahead.
The bundle rarest item will probably never come back, OG auras go for up to 20bil, so maybe saving your cosmic to get 100-200% revenue in a year may be a good option. There are none on broker because they go for more than the 999.999.999 cap
If you're on the NA PS/PC server the Cosmic Chroma is selling currently between $1-$2 billion. You aren't seeing them on the broker because (A) there is a $999,999,999 cap on broker items and (B) there's a hefty broker fee for listing an item that high. I sold mine via trade for $1 billion.
Just keep it for awhile and let the price go up. Don't sell it now to get a quick buck cause whoever you sell it to now will surely make triple or more what they bought it from you.
I got lucky really lucky this go around. I had a couple thousand mp cash in my account so I bought a few boxes. I ended up getting 2 chromas, and flipped them for 3bill each within the first few hours the boxes went live. I ended up buying a light and a dark chroma for 1.8bill altogether from a friend which I collected for myself. I then sniped 3 more chroma boxes for a bill each to hold on to. So I ended up with both versions collected, 3 boxes, and 1.2bill from only opening about 6 BBs. This doesn't even count the almost 1bill i got from selling the other items i got. Plus all the replays, detectors. And nth metal. Moral of the story, it pays to get on and sell everything you get as soon as a BB/TC drops. You always come out ahead in the long run
You can find one on the broker for 999 mil at times, but most are going for 1Bil+ on trade as others have said. I'd agree that you should sit on it for a while, or use it if you want. Only you can decide if using it on Toon A vs Toon B you create tomorrow is a good idea. I know personally, I never apply the biggies to anyone without some thought given to it. The price will likely never come down past 999 mil so if you are not planning on using it today or soon, you can join the billionaire club and trade it for 1.5 or higher in a month or 2. Worst case you can hold it for longer and see if you can trade it for something else of great value when the next thing comes along thats 1 Bil+.
yeah, my speedster is already a Billionaire since that first accessory Resurgence Time Capsule. Putting him above the two Billion Mark is pretty much my plan. Besides, for all the whining about the OG Cosmic Material I've seen on here, I'm almost willing to drop it on the broker just to show I'm NOT the type of player who obsesses about having EVERY Material or style available! (that way lies madness)
