I called it in the "speculation" thread lol - We are getting a roaming Doomsday like Cerberus

I was going to resub for the next three months... but all i saw was a lobo style which is ok i suppose... an ok looking aura.... a cool mission and an unbottled daily planet...

I REALIZE THIS IS ONLY THE FIRST PHASE....

But i think ill hold off on resubbing til i see some actual superman stuff ... such as gear, auras, emblems, hair, materials etc. ...

And if all the really long time sought after stuff is behind RNG i wont be coming back at all... if you put in a traditional superman style And its behind RNG .... Time Capsules i will be done....

Batman got a 75 year anniversary that literally everything could be obtained either given to us.. paid for directly in the market place or earned in pvp...

If we have to jump through hoops to get the superman stuff... thats it for me

I was hoping for something having to do with Superman at least . I thought the most disappointing thing was the Lobo style till I saw the new artifact.

A Superman celebration where they needed to hit the ground running, and the style is Lobo....

Even if theres a style being "saved" for part 2 or 3 I can see this causing people to unsub. Unbelievable. Injustice Mobile managed to get Original 30's Superman, that feels like a celebration. Even a game like Arena of Valor got him last year. We cant get 1 style.

Content looks good but thats just a spit in the face of Superman fans...

I'm not crazy about the Lobo style for guys, but the female version was pretty awesome (others have been begging for Lobo, so they're going to be happier than me definitely). It kind of takes away from the flavor of the event, because it doesn't really seem to have anything to do with Doomsday or the Death of Superman whatsoever (besides the spikes, maybe?. However, if they had done a doomsday-inspired style with spikes and bony protrusions and whatnot, would people be happier than now? It would've been more faithful to the event, but would it have looked better?

As for why no Supes stuff yet, remember licensing issues. It's undoubtedly very, very, very expensive for them to use his stuff. That doesn't mean it's not coming (I really hope it is), just that it will definitely be a special highlight of this three-part event. Don't expect limitless Superman stuff (emblems AND multiple iconic styles AND posters, etc.), just because it's probably pretty expensive. That said, I know Magneto really wants an emblem, so I'll root for one for him, lol.

The whole 1st part should be 100% about Superman I can maybe see the 2nd or 3rd styles bases on other characters but not the 1st that needs to be Superman.

They have to save the best for last. You know what would happen if the best was dropped first and then not so guud stuff released at the end.

Doomsday style? Its only use to me at this point would be the feat points attached to collecting it. That Lobo style? Yum. Only question is whether the gun/holster is part of the belt or the pants. If belt, then perfect.

Exactly. It's like people wanted 3 superman styles. An emblem first. Then a classic gear set. Then another Superman gear set afterwards, etc. And while that would be cool, it's not really practical because of how much it costs. It's the same reason why you see mostly B-side Beatles songs in hollywood movies, instead of one-after-another of their #1 hits. (Everyone here at least knows who the Beatles are, right? Man, I must be getting old, lol).

I wish it was the belt, but i'm pretty sure the pants. Either way, virtually every female toon I have and half of the males are going to be wearing it, lol.

We got batmans iconic cowl.... we even got flashes iconic cowl.... im just saying if we cant get supermans traditional costume as a style meaning chest that looks just like supermans shirt with the wide neck line (tired of turtle necks for slimlines)... supermans cape with an S on the back that isnt grainy..... supermans legs with the trunks ... his belt... his boots that dont look clunky... and then an emblem we can place on it ... then we have a problem... ill just be really disappointed maybe im asking too much but they completely forgot about us superman fans for 75 years... i think they could throw us a very big bone this time around with not locking it into RNG hell and or time capsules for the highly requested stuff

But this is supposed to be the big 80th anniversary you need to have Superman stuff at the start and end .

If it is attached to the pants instead of the belt, then I’ll probably only use the chest piece on my main and debate the old jeans vs the split personality pants

It looks attached to the leg....which works just perfect for me.
