Just one question: What the frak is "RNG"? Please do NOT assume that everyone just automatically understands what your abbreviations stand for, KTHXBYE! :)

RNG has been great to me! I guess me playing tank 99% of the time has rewarded me:)

    Random Number Generator

It's a term used to explain how "random" works. Like rolling the dice to come up with numbers. Numbers that then have meaning.

It's not exactly accurate, as there is no random in this game. Everything has weighted chance.

As in, whether or not that chest piece will drop is not 50/50. Not even if there were only two options. The chest piece would still have less "chance" than say a Mark, or base item.

The RNG is working basically how they meant it to. How ever I do believe it needs some rework raise then minimums just a little and lower the maximum just a little to make it more consistent. Then instead of your tokenstuff idea just make it a loot box like the weapons box is now that way you can pick which piece of gear you want

Spend another 1,000 replays, you'll get a purple drop you need.

On the same note, during those 35 times of running that raid, did you get ANY purple item? Whether you needed it or not? If you did, then one could say that the RNG is working as intended, thats assuming you got one every 9-10 boss fights like they say the Bad-Luck-Limiter works.

It's not mandatory. Especially right now since there will be no new content for several months. It's a choice. By choosing to replay something 35 times, you're saying that you're okay with RNG, and whatever RNG gives you.

    Obviusly the RNG is flawed.
The mere notion of a "Luck Counter" completely eliminates the "Random" part.
Luck Counter and RNG are antonyms.
If you keep buying replays you will contribute to the prolongation of this system.

As tempting as it is to break into my favorite conspiracy theory about how loot drops seem to work....:D

It's part and parcel of any loot chase a player takes part in while playing a game like this. Even in other games where replay badges were not part of the equation, I've run into frustrating chases in going after a particular piece of loot. The devs will design the content to keep you playing the game, and having some loot items be rare/hard to get drops is one way of doing that.

I just keep a sense of humor about any loot chase. I have to, otherwise my PC would be taking regular flights across the room when a Vault item I need for one character drops for a different character that already has it. LOL

Reminds me of Sons of Trigon boxes. Yes, it would suffice!

"Some" being a key word here.

Some RNG is indeed good and adds a sense of excitement.

Unfortunately, only Vendor gear is not based on RNG. EVERYTHING else in the game is.

I lost all pity for you when I saw the words op ring :p

Still the window of luck needs to be more narrow to give all players close to the same kind of luck when running content

No it don't :p it should give more belts for everyone. P.S jk I still need Circe's legs :(
