Just wondering if you and your friend had considered putting in a ticket with support to get the permissions changed in that old League? Considering that the originator was banned, it might be considered a special circumstance that they would resolve.
yeah i sent in a ticket years ago. And then they said there was nothing they could do. It stinks but at least the league is still alive thanks to our alts.
That is a unique situation indeed. Im glad you are back on the game. I always enjoy taking a break and coming back because it gives you so much to do lol. Happy Grinding
I hope the leader set the preferences to allow for their absence. I've heard stories of leaders leaving, and the rest of the league was locked out of things (generators, banks, etc) I'm forever grateful that mine promoted me, then demoted himself.
I feel guilty asking an offshoot question, but I'm curious- what do (or did) people do in their non-empty halls? Donating/decorating, using the banks, updating buffs, testing dps, statue-gazing and running Halls of Power/TOWWe are the obvious things along with potential dev invasions; anyone willing to share what other uses you've found for your hall? Background: Prior to the current metal and favor-gathering systems, we held duel and style tournaments, a couple scavenger hunts, and must be present to win raffles during meetings when someone wanted to talk in LC for 30+ mins with everyone's full attention. Feels harder to justify missing those drops now, though, without a really good reason. I've been dropping off treat candies and trick grenades regularly, but with 10-30 average players on, I have literally run into zero lurkers in the hall. Infact, when "the hall" is mentioned "of legends" almost always follows. Did our hall grind turn out to mostly be a solid for our decorator(s)? Were more content-based uses planned early on? Again, sorry... my questions aren't intended to derail the discussion... just wondering.

I guess it's because some of us spend time and resources to make the league worth it. I'm a decorator for my league, and I spend a lot of time planning what to put in each section and I refuse to leave it until everything is done. I spent waaay too much time there and donated waaay too many things to just give up on it.
My league was Felonious. A friend and I passed lead between us a few times over the years. The time around when I first joined was some of the best I've had in this game. At times it has been one of the most active leagues on the server and at other times it has been me and maybe one other person. Tons of time and money wrapped up in the league hall. I still log in to an alt and walk through it from time to time
I'm in a "dead" league, in that my son and I are the only members, and he doesn't really play anymore. All of our hero toons are in it (and we also have one for our villains). TBH, we mainly started leagues so we'd stop getting random invites every few minutes. Even when we blocked invites, we were constantly getting "rejected league invite" spam in our chatboxes. My hero league, though, does have a league hall, and I've done quite a bit of decoration to make it feel less empty when I do decide to open it up. I've been wanting to for a while, but I've been saving up Prestige so when I open the league to other players, we'll have all the league buffs. Almost there...
