Just wondering, are we ever going to see the following in action? A new Ui Sidekick customization New open world areas More factions perhaps More Dc lore Mentors, powers, etc. Open world events For how long do we have to wait to get this kind of things? Especially when they a need it the most, compare to other mmo in the ps4. Dcuo is pretty behind. The content or current plan of content is not enough to keep a player for too long. Maybe implementing a new things in the game, would benefit and also bring new players.
They are always adding more DC lore. And there are more powers coming. The rest of your list I doubt though.
No No No No Maybe Water, the rest No No Everything you have said has been talked about many, many times, you really should keep up with the forums to know the answers. Most of it is not going to happen (a few are never going to), the new UI got cancelled.
Agreed, now it's just a cash grab before they announce the end. All they do is throw some of the same tired crap out there and call it new content.
Well can you blame him? Alot of us were excited about the new UI they were working on... I can understand where players might get the impression that a new UI was something planned for the long term good/profitability of the game and have gotten the impression that the new investors only care about short term profits... Lets look at his list again: UI; if it wasn't scrapped it would probably have opened up the possibility of new features making it into the game/made it easier to add new powers to the power trees, maybe introduce the ability to outright change between different power skins, opened up Ram for bigger instances? Sidekick customization; probably lumped in with the UI or something the new UI would have made possible(And totally something the Dev team could have added as a marketplace upgrade...) New open world areas; Lets be honest, there are some of us that dream of a Sandbox MMO set in the DC universe, Gotham and Metro gave us a taste of that but technical limitations of the old council generation inhibited that due to lack of ram(And heaven forbid if the PC version deviated from its council counterpart in ways that made it more sand-boxy like Grand Theft Auto or Saints Row Four...) More factions; honestly this seems unlikely unless factions were merely like mega guilds that could still play together but had iconic NPC "mentors" and some differing vanity items.... More DC lore; so long as the game survives and continues pumping out content this will probably be a given. Mentors, powers, ect. Powers I could see them doing more of, since new powers sell. Not sure how they would do new mentors though without adding more factions... Open world events; Yes I wish this to happen, though I'm not optimistic about it since it's one of those things that probably wouldn't make them much in the way of income unless it was linked to DLC... And yeah, they seem to be focusing on making as much money as possible.(Presumably to try to keep their new corporate overlords from giving it the Ax for as long as possible.)
I was really looking up to the the new UI and the sidekick customization too. That kind of sad, that we wont get to see the stuff that we want in the game
Exactly^^ They should take or look at other games to make and see what appeal players the most in a mmo. No pun intented. Even though, I no longer play this game, I would love to see evolve into the game that i was waiting for! Believe me if they ever put a new ui or something like open world event. I would be right back in the game. However, until then I am just going to wait patently.
Well, I personally think it would not make that much of a difference. It would sure bring new people, but in the current situation of the game I doubt it would attract that many. Xbox has never winter, eso, and many other mmo to compete against dcuo. Don't get this the wrong way, I would love to see those things. In fact, anything that could revive this game.
