    Notes:
    1. The Discounted Price is available once all 8 pieces of the style are collected and the "Hit the Silk" feat is unlocked. Unlocking this feat on alts, via replay badges, will enable you to acquire the 8 pieces of the style at the discounted rate.
    2. The Elite gear shares the same stats, item level and costs as the regular version. It's only difference is the style.
    3. Each piece of gear in this set grants 1x Chronon Particle per piece. When a player wear 8x Chronon Particles at the same time, it will unlock the Chronon Active feat, which enables that character to begin receiving the rare Omnipotence collections.

    Omnipotence Gear
Episode 28 offers players the opportunity to earn 3 pieces of Omnipotence gear - Head, Back and Waist.

Does this Omnipotence Gear counts towards activating the Elite Affinity Base Mods?
The Omnipotence gear DOES count as Elite gear and will contribute towards activating your base Affinity mods. If you obtain all 3 of these Omnipotence pieces, you will only need the 5 remaining Elite gear slots to activate all 4 of your Affinity mods.

Bonus Loot from the Temporal Paradox Capacitor of Omnipotence Style?
Running the Elite Raids whilst wearing the Temporal Paradox Capacity back still will allow you the opportunity to spawn and fight a bonus boss in the Baron Von Savage Boss Fight of "Justice for All (Elite)" raid and the Ultimate Soldier boss fight of the "Ultimate Soldier (Elite)" Raid.

The bonus boss fight only triggers if a player is wearing the style. Equipping the gear does not activate the the boss. Only 1 player is required to wear the style. A terminal will activate when done correctly and activating this terminal will spawn the bonus boss into the fight.

The group is only permitted one attempt to kill the bonus boss for the entire run. If you die before the boss is defeated, you will not be able to try again until your next run.

Upon defeating this boss, every player will be given a selection of rewards from a list that includes Exobits, Recovery Kits, Simple Materials, Complex Materials and Core Element Special Forces.

Players wearing the Omnipotence back style seem to have a higher probability of receiving an Omnipotent collection or "World War Wanted" collection upon defeating the bonus boss, compared to those who aren't wearing the style.

Collections and Where to get the Omnipotence gear?
Each piece of Omnipotence gear is obtained from by completing one of the Omnipotence collections. Each collection contains 12 pieces.

11 of 12 pieces from each collection have a chance to drop in content once you've unlocked the "Chronon Active" feat. This feat is granted to players who simultaneously wear gear that grants at least 8 Chronon Particles.

The 12th piece from each collection is sold at the Episode 28 vendor, found inside the Open World areas.

Collecting all 3 will unlock a 10 point feat called "Head Strong" which will grant you a title "The Head Strong".

    Dropped Gear

First introduced in Amazon Fury Part 3, Episode 28 utilises the progressive gear drops system. Certain bosses and missions grant a gear reward. This gear arrives in a box, in your inventory, unattuned to both it's item level and role.

Upon opening your gear box, the gear will automatically attune to an item level relative to your maximum Combat Rating. You will then be asked to select which role you would like the gear to be attuned to.

All 15 slots for gear are available in all rarities from every boss that drops a gear reward. That means you are able to get any piece of gear in a Purple, Blue or Green drop from every place where the reward is a piece of gear.

The style which the 8 main pieces (Head, Chest, Shoulders, Back, Hands, Waist, Legs and Feet) use is the retro style Paramilitary. The style is the same for Green, Blue and Purple rarity.

Collections 1 through 11 are all available in War-Torn Village with some also dropping inside Time-Torn Area 51. The rarest collection seems to be Sgt. Rock's Tattered Bandolier.

    Time Torn Time Capsule

In addition to Episode 28, the Time Torn Time Capsule was released in conjunction with new episode. The Time Capsule includes rewards centred around the Golden Age of DC Comics and Time Travel.

Rewards featured in the Time Torn Time Capsule set include a new set of gear modelled after Dr Midnight, 8 new emblems, a new Time Torn effect material, a Time Torn effect aura and Robotic Arms hands style.

    Mid-Nite Style

The "Mid-Nite" Style is a Time Capsule exclusive style modelled after iconic DC Comics character Doctor Mid-Nite. The style is attached to gear which attunes to an item relative to your Combat Rating. The maximum Item Level this gear attunes to is 172 - 3 less than vendor gear and 1 less than Purple dropped gear from Episode 28 content.

The style also comes with plans to craft upgraded "Enhanced" versions of the style, which have glow emitting areas. The Enchanced versions can be crafted using Midnight Motes, found inside the Capsules.

    Time Torn Emblems

Time Torn Emblems are distributed in the Time Torn Emblems Capsule, a sub-capsule of the Time Torn Time Capsule. There are 8 new Emblems to collect in this capsule based around logos respresenting the following characters:
    • Atom Smasher (definitely looks more like Damage to me, though)
    • Dr Mid-Nite
    • Eclipso
    • The Flash - Jay Garrick
    • Green Lantern - Alan Scott
    • Hourman
    • Liberty Belle
    • Mister Terrific
Emblems come in Caches which contain the actual emblem itself and a plan from which to construct "Enhanced" versions of each one. The recipe for each plan asks for 15 Simple Materials, 10 Complex Materials and 5 Midnight Motes. Midnight Motes are found exclusively in the Time Torn Time Capsule as a random drop when initially opening a capsule.

Bombshells Wonder Woman Shield Members Gift

DCUO members who log into the game between the 1st and 12th of June 2017 were granted a special reward in the form of a Bombshells Wonder Woman Shield weapon skin and the same shield as a wall-mounted base item for your base.

The gift could be redeemed and consumed on one character, one time only.

    Update 3: 29th May 2017
    • Added a video for the Baron Von Savage portrait base item reward, granted upon completing the "A Brawling Blondie who became a Blackhawk" investigation.

Note: Expect an update to the vendor gear post tomorrow. I have the information, I just need to find the time to write it down into a post. I'm sure you can find it elsewhere if you're desperate to know, though ^^

I believe it is. It's not as overwhelming as it might appear though. I got the entire collection in under 2 hours without a radar enhancer. Those 2 hours included learning where the nodes are, fighting for the pieces from other players also farming the collection and wasting 30 minutes to an hour in War Torn Village looking for collections that only seem to spawn in Area 51. I expect this collection to go the way of the Gorgon hairpiece collection in AF3.

    • Added vendor gear costs and notes to the vendor gear section

      • Note: Video for the base items is currently rendering as I type this update. It contains a lot of information which needs to be verified and any corrections will need to be made. Expect the video to be launched at some time on the 30th of May.

    • Maybe something involving the gear stats?

So are you saying there is too much grind, or that people rush through it too quickly? I assume the latter, but your gif is a bit too clever for me :)
