you...you... why would you take a games engine from another game ... but either way they could borrow the engine from the others but why would they... did u not even read the OP it would be a set of DCUO MOBA-styled maps and game play... the DLC name could attact new player ... y on earth would they use a different engine? u think DOTA LOL AND SMITE ALL USE THE SAME 1 and the unreal engine that this game is played on is played on a lot of popular games..as a matter of fact i just looked it UP smite and DCUO are both ran on the same UNREAL 3 engine .. LOL:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    EDIT:
I do not want to sound like a jerk. i'm not suggesting this type of DLC wouldn't be a bit more work from the usual schedule of the Devs but i am not suggesting it would be impossible either or overly time consuming from the norm. but since this game has taken a vow for PVE raids per DLC it would make the task even more difficult to do but i'd like to see one in a beta state to simply see the turnover rate. Honestly what is there to lose it doesn't have to be in placed in the game for even another year or longer so long as its done right. At worst if i was wrong and we move on, and the devs say its a stretch. Buuuutttt what if i was right ... and you do not want to see the list of me being right ... after titles was released i just shook my head

What are you even talking about?
My comment was about creating a game inside a game, just as Dota was created as a custom map for Warcraft III, as that's what you try to create. A custom map inside DCUO that wold play out as MOBA.

Having both games run on unreal 3 does not mean you just copy-paste from one game to another.
Game engine is pretty much the very core of the game. Just a set of engines and development tools built to make a game developers life as easy as possible. Idea is to create core engines and tools which could be used in multiple ways in multiple situations in multiple games. It's the core.

Trying to simplify as much as possible.
*Developer has a concept / idea.
*Picks a suitable engine for the project or creates one itself
*Creates necessary functions, modifications and tools (when needed) on top of it.

Designing a game inside a game will never feel as smooth as designing a game from ground up.
That's why Dota 1 feels much more clunky than Dota 2.
1 was created as custom map on an engine created for RTS.
Other was designed from ground up with this being a MOBA in mind.

It would be a quite a lot lot lot lot lot of more work than releasing a new raid.

    Hate the idea.
Think it would be a huge waste of development time, which it would require a lot.
This will be my last response.

NO NO NO NO i was not asking for that type of Drastic change i am saying bring moba maps and ability to this game ... not make a clone of a MOBA here but make a few maps designed similarly to the ones in Smite. because i do not care for LOL and haven't played DOTA just because it looks so soo bad. firstly you would need to implement a few more moves per chracter and that would help balance them out but i think a few iconics and maybe a SC or two from other powersets should be the bases ( until they either expound on this of ignore it), next level design they would have to have lanes and powerups also NPC's that play cohesively, BUT the DCUO part would take care of the rest with different toons stats being tweaked for these maps making heavier/melee toons like BANE Kilowog Superman do better Melee dmg and high health but low powers and ability to lvl up. making lighter chracters like Circe Catwoman Cheatha different the gameplay would be different for this and because i do not want to put everything here i do not. i do not know if i've been misrepresented or not "DC PVP with a Twist of MOBA" i thought would suggest bring MOBA elements to certain PVP maps not turning DCUO to a MOBA ...
