DC please put more solo content with the best gear drops in them

I'm tired of doing alerts with people from LFG or other randoms who don't know how to be team players.
These are the people who rush ahead, leaving other group members to die alone. Then when you bring up the problem they always respond the same way, "keep up". Keep up? How bout you keep up with the fact that this is a GROUP mission and you need to play for the better of the GROUP not rush ahead and do your own thing.

This isn't even just dps who try to tank. I've seen all roles do it. I met a healer in strike today and we kept dying because the other two guys left the healer to fend for himself and when I went to help him we died after he ran out of power. (i'm a dps) He kept asking the group to stick together and when I chimed in the troll said, you guessed it, "keep up" and kicked us both. Maybe DC should start putting out more solo content with the best gear in the game so that I don't have to run into people like this when I do alerts. lol

For the open world stuff I tend to do my own thing as well. I find it much more efficient. One guy can usually sneak around completing the objective while getting very little aggro. When you have a full group you tend to aggro more enemies making it tougher. All I can say is work on your ninja skills lol then you will be able to complete the objectives solo as well. I have seen to often where the group aggros enemies and then more and more, so nothing ever actually gets done. The group just fights pointless adds for no reason THEY JUST RE-SPAWN.

Inside of a building though, yes the group should stick together. Mind you this is a lot easier to do because you can only go one direction. In open world it is hard to stay together especially when IMHO it make the objectives harder when you do. I am all about doing the instances quicker, so if it means I am a martyr for our group completing the objective then dying so be it. I will never complain about the death, nor should the healer be upset by it. I did it to myself trying to speed the objective up for the group.

But if the best gear drops from solos they won't need to farm alerts for marks.
They should offer more marks too so others will be more inclined to farm those for gear.

Flawed answer.
1) league isn't always on and there's no sense in waiting for them to do content if 9/10 PUGs are capable of completing content
2) running with league only gets boring after a while
2 Reasons why many people may choose to PUG.

if u dont want to wait for league mates than u have to adapt to the world outside means doing alert as fast as possible no walking around enjoying the view maybe some sightseeing tour ...NO go in kill rush kill skip kill rush kill done.

if u cant than u sir searching for a RPG instead of a MMORPG.

I notice that usually when people split in Operations, especially the T5 ones, people die because there are so many ads that will attack first. I will admit that when I'm trolling I will sometimes throw a pot and then go try to do the objective, but if I see the group struggling I race back to help. If a person rushes and they die. I don't care. If a person rushes and I die that's when I get mad. Even worse, in trigon I know people like to rush because of the cutscenes but sometimes the door for the avatar of sin will get glitched because only one person rushed w/o warning and when he saw he was alone he backed out of the room. Communication is key. If you're going to split or rush say so first so the rest of us can prepare. Don't just do whatever without letting us know and say "keep up". That's stupid and unfair.

The majority should not have to adapt to the minority. 2 people against 1 said don't rush. Why would we have to conform to his strategy when ours works better? No need to respond; you're one of the "keep up" players and I don't want to see your posts anymore.

I would love it if the top gear came from solos, but I don't think the game is ever going to skew that way.

This is like Michael Jordan asking for the rest of the team to be benched because he is better than them. Sure he was/is one of the best but w/out a solid team you can't make it to the championship.

Dnt get me wrong I in now way want to take away solo content from players because I think its necessary, but fact of the matter is, the game is based on team dynamics w/ high end rewards for completing group content whether its marks or loot.

Join a league / Make a league...get yourself a Scotty Pipen, Horace Grant, Tony Kukoc, John Paxson, Bill Cartwright, Will Perdue. etc etc...lol...Or continue pugging & risking the chance of playing w/ the Charlotte Bobcats.

ur right nothing is fast enough for me i dont like if the new t5 alerts take longer than 20 min... but i dont think iam in the minority with my opinion ... maybe here on forum but iam sure majority on the server wana do it fast cause time is money , money is luxus and we cant afford luxus xD or something ...ehh

Yeah. I don't expect it to either.

I play with league members when they're online. I don't know how most leagues are or how most people think leagues are, but my league doesn't have set times for when we are going to be online. If i login and they're on I'll ask for or give help. If not, I'll pug things I can handle without them. I'm not going to be like Fry's dog and wait around in the cold for years and years hoping they show up. Most of the time when I PUG, I meet really cool or funny people, some who become league members.

I do like some solo content, but I don't think it should drop the best gear in the game.

It's called an MMO for a reason.

Meanies Marring Objectives?

Putting better or the best gear into solos isn’t going to solve the issue of people not knowing how to be good teammates.

If anything people not running enough group content is a major reason why PUGing has become more unbearable.

Power-gearing by spamming the Raven bounties and now purchasing the 90 gear have brought these inexperienced and under-skilled players into content they’re just not equipped to run.

In the end, people will always wish for other means besides 4 and 8-mans to gear their characters but will still want to run 4 and 8-mans since their characters are geared to run it.

Yeah lets all only do Solo content, but why should i play as a troll in solo? why should i heal? why should i tank?
It would shift the playerbase even further into the "i only play Damdge Dealer" direction.
And personally I like raids better you play with a group and you are able to play with different setups and try new things, but you dont have any versatility in solo content.

And about the other things you say: You are laying PUG, some groups are awesome, but most are horrible. Thats just the PUG life.

I see what you're saying about that last line. I'm not concerned about making people better team members, because that mentality cannot be taught. Rather, I would want to take them out of the equation some how. If it's pushing them towards playing alone, that's good. I can ignore them too or have my buddies vote to kick but some people side with the higher geared or the "support" players (trolls) regardless of attitude. Ignoring them doesn't always help either because If I'm not making the group someone can invite them and I'm not sure if it prevents me from running with them if I queue up alone.

best gear no..would like to see more solos tho...tired of spending hours on villain side pc and *maybe* getting one op in. Least with solos I can get marks and *eventually* progress....

they sould put out more solo legend mission like bizzaro and the huntress have, like have a new solo mission where you play as the batman or power girl, that would be nice
