DC Character's Loadouts

    There was a post about how to make a Batman Loadout andI was thinking it would be cool to identify the loadout of all DC characters in the game if someone wanted to make them. So let start with the inspired by characters, using the powers that are already in the game.

    Batman Loadout: Powers-Gadgets, Weapon- Martial Arts, Movement- Acrobatics
    Damage Role: Baterang Multi-shot, Intimidation,Stealth, Distract, Self-Destruct Signal, Zip Tie Attack
    Stealth Role: Surprise Attack, Implosion Mine, Thermite Mine, Anesthetic, Self-Destruct Signal, Grapple Line Attack
    Control Role: Taser Pull, Cryo-Foam, Stealth, Gauss Grenade, Bunker Buster, Napalm Grenade

    I used these powers for batman because I feel that these best exhibit what Batman has done in his comics and cartoons... Batmans damage role is his normal stance, but when he needs to pull out the big guns or play a support role, he tends to use what he has at his best arsenal. I did not add Battle Drone or any of the other gadgets frankly because I never seen him use them. The intro to DCUO is not a Batman I've ever seen, although I'm sure if it came down to the end of days, Batman would be as prepared as he could be, with battle armor and the whole nine. I deep down believe that Batman would night fight with heavy armor, due to him relying heavily on his speed and agility! I add Bunker Buster only because it was used in the intro video.

    Superman Loadout: Powers- Earth, Weapon- Brawling, Movement- Flight
    Damage: Heat Vision, Freezing Breath, Swoop Attack, Whirwind Attack, Dustoff, Localized Tremor
    Tank Role: Heat Vision, Freezing Breath, Unstoppable, Jackhammer, Rumblecrush, Shards

    I picked this loadout for Superman despite them claiming that superman would have an Ice Powerset. I feel Superman would fit more with earth only due to the fact that Superman is super strong and I could see him impacting the earth the way the earth powers reflects. I really don't see how he would control or manipulate ice with the ice powers they have listed.

    Flash Loadout: Power- Electricity, Weapon- Brawling, Movement Superspeed
    Damage: Tornado Pull; Cyclone Push; Vortex Trap; Whirling Dervish; Phase Dodge; Dash Attack

    Green Arrow Loadout: Powers-Gadgets, Weapon- Bow, Movement- Acrobatics
    Damage Role: Grapple Line Attack, Forward Flip Attack, Zip Tie Attack, Backflip Attack, Launching Roll, Asphyxiation Gas

    I do believe that both Flash and Green Arrow would work best in their damage roles. I can't see either one of them using any powers other than thier movement abilities. I gave Green Arrow Asphyxiation Gas due to Green Arrow usually shots one of these in a room with the baddies. I don't know if the animation has him shoot it in or what... but it is green smoke!

    Wonder Woman Loadout: Power- Sorcery, Weapon- Brawling, Movement- Flight
    Healing Role: Amazonium Deflection, Mesmerizing Lasso, Rejueneate, Invocation Renewal, Transcendence, Swoop Attack.

    After doing some reseach...(and not really knowing Wonder Woman beforehand) it seems that this loadout would best fit Wonder Woman due to her having the ability to regenerate and is nearly invulnerable. I would have thought that she would better fit in with the mental powerset, but even those powers don't really define who she is and what she is capable of doing. Swoop Attack was added just as the most believable power from all the powers available that I've seen. I'm sure it could be replaced with another movement or iconic power.

    [sorry for absence of "heat vision", but in cartoons he hadn't it, & pyro looks quite like it & alot more useful]

    Well it could be a nice powerset for the bruiser, but it all depends on how cartoonish or realistic/believable a Bane your trying to make. I tend to like the realism than the cartoonish feel, myself. The Bane in the Video Game is far from the ideal Bane I've ever seen. That Bane is more like the Schumacher's Bane, where I tend to like Nolanish kind of Bane. I could never see Bane striking the ground so hard he makes the earth shake, he would have to have the strength of Superman to do that. Plus, even though you may be coming from a power effect standpoint, I never seen Bane fist turn to stone... but if Earth works for ya, go head. If you noticed I had Superman having the Earth Powerset because I think it is better suited for him than Ice, plus the powers that are under earth, due to superman's super strength, superman has been able to pull off. I didn't see any powers under Ice that I've ever seen Superman capable of doing unless it was in a cartoonish comic book.
