    Hi

    Please see video*:

*(audio is required for explanation, I tried my hardest to speak English and not Scots as I wish to be understood internationally)

I use a headset, so not computer sounds could be heard.

    I've been polite..
    I've been restrained..
    I've been *very* patient..

THIS THING IS A FLIPPING NIGHTMARE!

workaround seeing.. DB gave this no attention.. requires windows 10 and more than one screen..

    Ctrl + Esc
go to the taskbar, hover over the crash handler, right click in the left hand corner> select 'move'
While holding down the Windows key press right or left arrow keys towards your second screen. (until you get the window to the second screen, keep the keys held)
write something/don't write anything.. > click 'ok'

Then the window will move itself to underneath the crashed game AGAIN while it reports the crash.
It says it will close itself after 4 minutes.. What On Earth??.. 4 minutes.. how about 0 mins 0 seconds?

    Next:
    Ctrl + Esc
go to the taskbar, hover over the crash handler, right click in the left hand corner>click the red close
and you should be good to go!

9 years this crash handler has been doing this!! 9 years.. why... whyyyyy.. it serves no purpose.

One of many reasons I don't use fullscreen.
That being said, I believe I have a solution for you.

At Task Manager > Select Options > Select Always on top
Now the manager should override the game and you can just End task it.

Let me know if it works for you.

    Hi CR

And thanks for your workaround.. tried it last night. Ctrl + Esc, right clicked on the taskbar for Task Manager.. and indeed it did stay on top.

So for anyone with this problem that just skimmed this thread.. the full solution is:

    Once you have access to your desktop;
At Task Manager > Select Options > Select Always on top
Now the manager should override the game and you can just End task it.

    Then when the game crashes:

Ctrl + Esc, right click on the taskbar for Task Manager.
Right click on DC Universe Client> End Task.
