Hey folks, I'm trying to increase my cr from 65 to 70 in order to get to T4. I have all of the High Voltage gear and two T3 pieces, they're just so bloody expensive. Ugh. I'm trying my best to earn enough MoT but I can't afford that many replay badges. Are there any tips and suggestion anyone could offer? I know I can mod my gear, but bits are expensive nowadays, so I don't want to buy em and nothing increases.
Sadly, even though the requirement for T4 is only 70 you will probably get kicked from the group unless you are at around 80cr or so. and you will likely get trolled to quit before that as they wont want to wait the 5 minutes to be able to kick you. Unfortunately some people can be real jerks in DCUO, and they get worse the higher cr they are.
You should bite the bullet and mod your gear. A full set of mod I's or less on your gear should do it, just remember there's an off chance you may have to relog for your CR to change.
Oh yeah, I've come across many of these people in my adventure. A group of leaguers all chatting away about how they're cr 80 and I'm only 65 and then they just stand around and watch me die. This is on t3 alerts too. Some people can be real scums, but I highly appreciate and respect those that take their time to help a person out. Yeah, that's what I'm about to do. I just spent half of my already humble cash on bits. Wish me luck or watch me cry.
Funny this sounds just like a thread I made about a month or so ago. I had the same problem and unfortunately there is no easy solution you just have to grind the same T3 missions over and over and over. And if you cannot afford the exobytes then just go farm for some. I already have several places in Metropolis and Gotham where I know exobytes exists and I just hang out and farm there for a couple hours every so often. I did just last night and I got a stack of blues and reds in about half an hour. But as for getting to 70 yeah unfortunately you just have to grind the same missions over and over and over. I remember one night when I needed just a thousand more MoT to buy a piece of gear I used my replay badges and did police station 10 times in a row. Got a thousand marks in less than an hour. It was a lot quicker than trying to queue up and pug for some FOS raid that is usually a 50/50 chance of actually getting it done. My best advice when your so close to CR 70 is replay badges for some of the easier T3 OnDuty stuff. Try and borrow 10 or 15 bucks from a friend or something and get some replay badges. From there farm for exobytes to mod that final gear and trust me you will be pushed to CR70. After that you can start doing stuff like Gates and then the marks will start flooding in. But I understand there really is that small little window right before 70 where it really seems like its never gonna happen.
stop crying ! is much more easier today you get this set , you have all the instances to give you a MoT and the MODS to raise you CR , the guys who have higher CRs ,was farming his sets with no resets (not exist ) and farming krypton marks , thas was dropping only in fos ,try to imagine you getting 30 MoK a week to make a full t3 set if you fininsh FOS 3 every week , today you have duo t3 , alerts t3 , even challenge t3 , and still claim . you are passing from sets but not learning the game and not making SP . so stop crying and start to play harder !
