In Progress Conjured Bee Wings Missing in Cutscenes

    Hi all,

    The new Conjured Bee Wings keep disappearing during cutscenes. It's not a critical bug (pun intended!), but I really would love to see those wings during the cutscenes since it completes my character's look/theme.

    I've noticed they seem to be turned off right before you start the cutscene. I noticed yesterday when i was running the seasonal intance, as soon as i interacted with the npc to start the fight they got turned off. I saw them dissapear right before the cutscene loaded.

    Yeah, I noticed that, too. They disappear right before the cutscene and remain gone during. I really hope it's a bug that they can address for the next hotfix.

    It's not necessarily a bug - we can flag effects to not show up in matinees and do so with player powers so the actors aren't covered in FX spam. I've unchecked this flag so it will get fixed eventually as a new client hotfix gets rolled out. No ETA on that but the fix will be incoming.

    Another style that doesn't show up in cutscenes is the fire from the nuclear elite headpiece.

    btw charon witch reason it got that this wings are animated that slow? i mean they not even move faster if we fly faster...can you pls take a look at this ...i mean i think they are nice for alot of styles but its pretty useless if they just dont (react) with movement speed :(

    None of the eye FX styles show either (fiery, venomous, etc).

    is that why swamp thing doesn't show up the active PIs when the ending cutscene pops like it used to previously? like if it was burning when defeated the fire used to show up during the cutscene.

    I snagged all the eyes I could find as well. Omega and Venom actually are set up to work in matinees so may want to double check that. Fiery, Dusk, Hologram, Lightning, Source Lightning, Power, etc. are all flagged to work in matinees which will roll out eventually.



    I looked into it - it's because these wings aren't actual "physical" items like other wings, these are purely FX. FX don't work with animation sets like physical items do. It would take a total rework of the wings to work that way, which isn't likely to happen or new tech to allow FX to obey animation and physics like actual items do. The only other thing is to set the base animation (purely FX driven - it's fake animation really) to be faster by default but it'll always be that speed for at rest or in motion. No real good answer, sadly. I even tried putting butterfly animation stuff on these, just to see if it worked, and it did not.
