i remember that one time people complained about armory prices..then they lowered them..maybe that's why people still complain in hopes that they get change.

I remember when they put 'batmans cowl' in the MP for 20$
People complained then, it's still ridiculously overpriced

New member on forums. Not new to DC. Why do people bash on people that are new to forums. She's been on DC for awhile. I'm not going to agree or disagree with any of her posts. But your comments seems to be unnecessary.

In fairness I think the escrow tokens are overpriced too. Anyone else think they should lower the prices on those by 50%?

I think they were taking people up on their offer to pay "all the moneys" for cool new styles in the marketplace.

They have like the best job in world, so if they don't like us complaining I suppose they could just rub that in our face.;)

Ya, I'm not very great at arguing lol. Just my opinion on the matter but not really trying to argue. I can admit when I'm wrong without trying to repair much ego at the cost of arguing. :)

Ya, I see your point. Mine is quite simple, playing a game is not a necessity thus being as intrusive as some are here is kind of ridiculous when you don't need....emphasis on need, the service provided by this business entity. So giving them a hard time I can see as admissible if they were say...your utilities provider like whichever company that provides your city with electricity. You need that, so get in their face about their fees and so on. You don't need a game, no need to give them a hard time as to how they run it or how much it costs. It's quite silly.

I just luv DC and hope they are in the best of moods while making money so they can continue making the game I enjoy on my time off.

Actually when you pay for something, you are owed for that payment, I pay a sub every month and that gives me the right to ask for changes, it doesn't mean they need to happen, but it's my money that's keeping the game running, though it's a speckle in the cosmos, but never the less it's there and it counts every 19th of the month.

Well the devs aren't responsible for terrible business calls, CEO's does. dev's are just doing what they are told to do, game play and creativity wise.

Any company need to grow and evolve with there customer and we as a paying customer have the right to ask for changes or express our unhappiness as a customer, nowadays people will easily go to another product, that fit's the customer integrity and how we identify us with that product.

That will count for any product not just mmo's but something simply as a coffee package will be evolving as the customer needs.
This is 2015 and go look around other mmo business models you can just not deny that RP are a cash money grab system for a short term.
Especially locked behind a RGN that can be tinkerd with.

Yes they are entitled how to run there's business but also how to lose there's customers.

Customers know a day's are smarter then years 1990 and there are more competitors on the block to that do evolved how the customer wants, and feeds there needs
As long we aren't disrespectful we can express our feelings in a civil way of any product, because we payed for it.

So let's agree we dis agree and we not all blessed with a visionary mind of sight :)

As others said I pay my subscription and that gives me the right to express my views about the product just as they have the right to ignore me. That said i do feel like right now I am being pressured to spend money on replays rather than choosing too because of a combination of things the most obvious right now has been low loot drops aimed at someone playing a lot and only gearing one role. I mean really what's the point of being able to switch between dips and heal/troll/tank if playing the game will only let me gear one role? Not to mention the fact that the loot was increased multiple times in a row AFTER the early access period runs out and I'm still not sure if this Thursday is early access or general release there are times I feel I'm paying them to betatest the game.

I love this game. I'm invested in it with time and money but it is a luxury.
With that said you could apply op logic to everything.
Don't hassle me about what I do cause I'm just trying to make money...

Yea, i recall a few posts like that, went something like: "I don't Care what it costs, Just give it to me!"

Well, they gave it to'em alright, gave it to'em Real good.:D

Complaining to the Devs about prices and business strategy, is like going to Outback or any chain restaurant and complaining to the cooks and service staff about the food prices. It is pointless. By all means complain about the quality of the food, or the content, if you don't like it. But do it in a civil manner. The complaints about rare gear drops may have led to this cool new R&D system (which is AWESOME). However, if you forcefully complain when you don't like something, you should compliment just as forcefully when you do like something. I think most of you are like my wife and I and spend a lot of time playing this excellent game (in my case too much time :) ). So relax and play. I believe the Devs have made a high-quality product, so my compliments to the chef.

A lot of great points have been made in this thread, although there is a big difference in constructively criticizing and randomly complaining. It is the Dev's responsibility to sort out the two, not ours. As a paying customer you have the right to criticize areas of the game that you do not like, or believe should be improved, but that right does not make your opinion right. Some of us criticize because we care about the game, and the gaming experience, nothing more nothing less. I believe this game has come a long way over the past year and a half, but still has room for improvement. The Dev's have created something in DCUO that a lot of us care for, and that is a credit to them, their talents, and their commitment.
