It's wrong for a company to monetize something in order to make money? I'm not sure you get how a business operates.

Honestly, I don't understand your complaint. Of COURSE you're going to get more capsules than keys. If you could get a key for each capsule without spending money, what exactly would be the point of selling keys on the marketplace. If you take out the revenue incentive for Daybreak, why would they even do this.

What I see on this thread is a lot of people who want to have their cake and eat it too.

Is this system perfect as implemented? No, but that's what trial and error are for.

Is it what the players asked for? Partially. To expect anything more is quite honestly, naive.

But to expect something for nothing(and yes, that IS what you're asking) is just "wrong" as you put it.

There is no evidence at all to show that to be correct. In fact going off the stream it showed the batman gear boxes have a roughly 10% drop rate. There are 8 pieces in the set. Which means on average 80 capsules which equals 80 keys and that is with no duplicates. That is the average rate majority of players will see. Some will see much worse and some will see much better. So even if we got 1 key a day, which we dont, you are talking an average of 80 days. And the event is only up for a couple of months. Where i come from a couple is 2.

Just people making mountains out of molehills like they always do when something big like this is announced.

I really like the idea of time capsules and I like prizes a lot. There is only 1 thing that I already asked in Livestream. We should be able to change eye color of Future Batman mask or at least put them white. In live stream answer was NO. Pls Re-Think if that decision is still same. I dont want to be forced to use bug eyes again to be able to change eye color, since that look little bit weird.

Life lesson 101 : Need Money to survive. If the free route was as convenient as the purchase route, there would be no reason to purchase the keys, the devs would have done all the extra developing, designing, and creating, for free.

Why does having feats attached to them make it wrong? Does 1sp make or break a character? No. Devs, next time don't put feats in TC, it brings out the tears out in some.

Will these time capsules contain Exceptional Recovery kits, by any chance? And if not, may I ask for a definitive answer on when (or if) they are returning as part of the next GU?

They said it would be in game or bought, now we thought both would be equal, with buying being a faster option but not really needed, however the fact that this is daily per account, plus one run isn't enough for a key, then add how many times you can get a capsule, and that you can use replay badges (and surprise surprise after so long we have replay badges on sale), makes it seem like a cash grab more than just something for players to enjoy. Like I said before it's not that we don't want the game to make money or we don't want to spend it, it's the ways we are given to do so that is the issue, and I'm thankful for the Aura packs but this just shouldn't be so inclined into making use buy the keys.

Hopefully some changes are done before it hits live, because as I also said on test we can't use the market, so we can't compare the cost vs runs until it hits live, and we know once it does there's no turning back good or bad (at least not for a while but really this is the closest thing to new content we'll get until Ep 27, not including PVP but well we all know how well that went with the exploits).

I guess. But u have to find someone with the piece u want and they are willing to part w/it and u have something they want. Look at BB aura prices to compare what people are going to be asking for in trade or sell price. If that bats style is the highest feat too as far as points? I predict prices will be extremely high for certain items.

U can get lockboxes on all of your alts and can be opened on multiple toons on the same day if your legendary and the styles in those lockboxes were not there for a limited time only. Big difference.

Not really free, you pay a sub that grants you a key, lose the sub you lose that key also.

I suppose. I still think the style will be relatively easy to obtain though compared to what people are making it out to be.

Nope you aren't RNG reliant because everything that is in the capsules can be traded and sold on the broker...so no not at all.
