Clown Box 2/19/15

So did the devs just slap a SC onto Clown Box so people don't use it period anymore to glitch? I think the not being picked up thing is a buff to the usefulness of CB but now that it's a SC will it do anything else beside damage? Is the damage brought up to line to make it worth a SC and what else was done to it to make it worth being used as and SC? Can we get an update to all ICONICS as well?

Can we do the same for Envelope now as well. It's now the only self encasement left in game that can be picked up.

I foresee lots of PVP nodes being held by boxed-up Jokers in the near future.

No that's not allowed because it's from the Earth Powerset aka it needs to be completely underpowered to match the rest of the powerset....

It's a huge buff in PvP and if this makes it to Joker's Legend load out change that would be nice, but the physics menacing in this game made it questionable before, is there a way to review Gadget's Statsis Field, Mental's Thought Bubble, and Hard Light's Entrap to not be picked up as well? When used they just bounce around way too much and move everywhere

You are correct and that was the reason every earth tank gave when Earths revamp came around to change it but alas it was left a rolling mess.

Please tell me Joker's Clown Box in Legends won't be a supercharge.

Yeah that should happen either, keep it the way it is just don't let us pick it up. A great idea could be to make it be a DoT as well around the area of the clown box while its used, since its a SC, or just make it heal like all the other 35% supercharges that Controlling powers have

Yeah, I hadn't thought about that. I actually wouldn't mind it being a supercharge if it healed and gave power. It doesn't even have to be a full heal like Saint Walker's SC, a smaller amount would still be worth it.

At this point why not just remove it from the game? Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody will use it if it's a supercharge. Hardly anyone does now.

It's like Dash Attack. Once that was changed to a SC, nobody used it.

Like I have stated earlier. Clownbox has been used more than 5 times in the game as an exploit in content. It did more harm than good. And for devs to finally fix it after all these years is quite groundbreaking. And moving the distance in throne to be well outside of quantum teleport range is another great fix.

I don't really see it as an exploit. It was just thinking "outside the box"!

I'm curious if the no pick up feature effects joker clown box in legends. Could be used to hold a mode for a few seconds when close to death.

clown box has always been a cheep tactic in pvp anyway now will be worse but only scaredy cats use it anyway

It was called strategy and role play now we have to wait on a sc to use it now no thank you.
