Why are we restricted to playing only hero sides or only villains side. I have this idea so please read it. How about when we have our mentor battle moments. like if you chose superman as a mentor. You and the man of steel up against lex luthor for the final level 30 mission can't we just decide to switch to villains at the end of the battle. Like if Luthor say's something like '' Why did you chose to go up against humanity and stand next to an alien. Can't you see what I've been trying to do. Is to benefit humanity. Join me now and see the world for what it truly is. I'll be at the Hall of doom. Obviously you've proven yourself resourceful through and through''. Superman then goes and tells us ''I won't be the one to stand in the way of your choice. Your an amazing ally and throughout your journey you've proven to be a honest and committed hero. I know whatever choice you make. You aren't luthor. You'll have your own code of honor amongst thieves. I'll be at the watchtower waiting if you decide to stay as one of us''. Wouldn't it be cool to decide to switch sides. Obviously you'll be stuck in that side afterwards since it's a one time option for those who just didn't feel comfortable being a villain or being a hero.
It would be a really cool thing but without mentors really meaning much in game I don't see there being much point to it. Personally I wished my mentor would have been more involved in my story but it is what it is. Again great idea though.
Thanks and I guess they are a big part now that I think about mostly every mission we get are either them three assigning us the missions but they're not really helping us in no way what so ever
My mentor is superman and I wish I chose another, but to late now and I didnt know better when I first started. I don't know why we can't change mentor or sides. Good guys go bad and bad guys go good all the time. And it would mean more style feats to unlock from changing sides. When we first hit level 30 we had to go to the hall of justice in the watchtower and speak to our mentor, Why can't we go back to them at any time and resign, change mentor or sides. The ability to do so at anytime would mean there would be more possible feats available to unlock, styles to find and fun to be had, not sure how heroes and villains will work in relation to leagues tho? Might have to leave our league to change, but could work...
