This is interesting! I like the idea. Let's see how it goes. Green Arrow's statue looks so good!! I love the pose!
PLEASEEEEEEE MAKE KYLE RYNER STATUE IBEG U . john statu looks so dope! also i been playing for 14 years now :O i just turned 20
Excited for the Martian Manhunter statue!!! It looks sooo good and about time he got one. Heroic Triumph statues in general are cool, hope villains will collect them aswell.
Out of all the Seasonal Event I enjoy this one the most because it provides a lot of style variety, base items I enjoy, and I like running the raids however.... NEW STYLES: DC Comics T-Shirt and Damaged Domino Mask (Left / Right) This feels like a tremendous dropoff from the styles I'm accustomed to seeing launched during this event. I was expecting more than a simple T-shirt and a ripped face mask. Speaking of T-shirts I really don't understand the obsession with T-shirts in this game, there's too many unrealized style requests in this game over the years to only come out with a T-shirt for the Anniversary. On a positive note, LOVE the statues.
I wish there were long sleeved versions of T-shirts, especially the Batman and Flash shirts and the new DC comic logo shirt. To your point about being too many unrealized style requests... its quite the grocery list. Maybe the 15th anniversary we can get the whole range of Lantern T-shirts. ..or maybe in some sort of Capsules this year.
Some feedback on the rewards: I know the iconic statues have been a standard feature for the past few anniversary events, but as a base builder I really don't find much use for them. We had statues in the last event, too. I'm basically only getting these for the feats. If Valentine's rolls around and gives us more statues I'm going to be dissapointed. As for the styles - the battle damaged mask is cool, however the only other battle damaged 'super suit' items are stuck behind an rng collection in a year-old time capsule. Would be great to have something else more widely available.
Not looking for any more T-shirts to be honest lol. Of all the characters I've ever created on this game over the past 12 years I've only used a T-shirt once and even then I put a Void material on it to black out the logo lol.
@Angeliana This new event counter says it started January 1st and goes through til Feb. 4th. Any chance we can get it extended through the 10th of February to make up for those 6 days that this event says it would be active? The 20hr cool down timer is a bit egregious and should be set for daily reset as well. We take time out of our lives to play the game, not take time out of the game to live our lives. Some people might only have a solid fifteen minutes to dedicate to DCUO a day and this cool down on the event is not encouraging. Especially with the 6 days of the event not being active as it should have. Thanks, and I hope my feedback is met with an open mind!
I second this, to add onto this all those challenges/missions in the event tab should have their own cooldown imo (just like the regular loot resets) or at the very least a general raid/open world daily/open world weekly progress point. You can do everything on reset day and it will be the same progress as if you just finish the fastest open world daily and log out, the current system punishes playing when you want to play and encourages rationing your play time. I'd love to see this change together with what Forum Junkie suggested with having the cooldown be attached to just the regular loot resets, the current cooldown timer just adds to the tediousness of what i've already described. I'm not the greatest fan of dcuo's type events/seasonals, mainly because the currency to earn required for the feats is usually obnoxiously high. Which is why i love LOVED seeing the anniversary feats only requiring 135 currency to earn, which is a far more reasonable and pleasant amount to earn for these types of events imo, which i would love to see in the future for other events, but then with the current event/quest system it kind of defeats the purpose of having lower currency requirements when you can only get 1 progress point per day (20 hours from since you last played technically), well that or spend roughly 30 euros to just buy your way to completion which makes the ''PLAY more to EARN more'' line a bit shallow.
My problem with the people that complain every week about the x2 art exp. Its the same as people complaining to a new owner because they don't do the same thing's the original owner did. There isn't anyone that was part of the dev team did those events. These players refuse to read the room. And to tell the truth x2 exp would get me to spend money on this game now.
Just bust out the American Express, then you can level the Omega Totality without relying on double XP, in the meantime...
Thanks to you and devs, I like some of the statues, especially Green Arrow and the Emote, love it - keep up the good work.
