In Progress Chat Glitch

4 months to acknowledge this lol, what a joke

It's the one thing that has seriously reduced my play time. It happened to me again last night when running content with my wife. She had to let me know what was being said in chat since I could not scroll up while tanking. I have considered not playing at all, but I have gone from logging in daily to logging in 2-3 times per week now, and I play far fewer hours on those days I do play.

It seems like it's even worse since the game update. Unreal.

We will be getting a new Vivox client with the next client patch. We are hopeful that it will solve most, if not all, of the chat issues.

Not solved at all, only added more lag instead. Maybe less hoping and more actually fixing??

They said "with the next client patch". That hasn't happened yet.

It seems the text chat is fixed, so thank you! However, voice chat still bugged in multiple ways. Often it's you can't hear someone but they hear you and switching vc channels and back may fix or break it for others, or adding to and then removing from ignore. Other times it's volume is super low and adjusting fixes. It'll also break mid missions. Crazy tbh

Xbox one GSoulZ none of my chats work even created new ones and still ain’t working I’m a healer so I’ll like to know when people need help so I can join groups or que the mission the need done

Was working for three LFG but then ended when I switched toon because I thought it was fixed

Even worse now when trying to change the settings on a tab it dose nothing but put the name of the tab on the top of the screen in black and white

Do you think they know we've been having this issue on PS & PC since last December?

Still ain’t working I can hear people just fine it’s the text chat that ain’t working

And streamer chats works just fine and yet they hide it because they are or friends being toxic on it and do you think they know that and let them keep doing it?

Still ain’t working I turned it off while it was working doing 1player mission because people are toxic on every channel then turned LFG back on to see it ain’t working

I begin to wonder if they even have a single dev working on this. It's been a year of constant reporting. It seems all they care about now is monetizing every little thing and any bug fixes that don't affect them making money get completely ignored. Crazy.

Still ain’t working a month later but have it working for toxic people is like they only help the toxic people that pay for the content just to be toxic to new or mid game players that don’t want to pay to play that just want to play and have fun wow great work developers really cool to be a “dev” only helping the toxic

Wife’s account chat is working tho and my account don’t have a ban notification about anything and all I ever done was told people how to play because we keep getting wiped crazy indeed

Spent like $30 Now I’m restricted to even chat so guess they really are only helping the toxic players that are grooming others to be toxic to certain people but yet I only ever done was told people how to play so everyone doesn’t get wiped. Went to working not working, glitching showing a few chats then quit, now restricted for no reason for 4 days so they are doing something to my account properly getting paid to do it or themselves are being toxic to me. The reason for these forums is that they can help who needs it but act like they can’t or have to do a overhaul patch instead fixing each person that posts on here so amazing how technology works try and fix it overhaul and it messes up for more people
