Hot take: Having bonus week launch on a Tuesday and weekly reset on Thursday might be wise in the long run. The devs get a lot of animosity from the community when they don't announce bonus weeks in time for weekly reset, and this has only become more so with Bonus artifact XP week being absent for over a year. This is a new dev team for the most part so they probably don't want to get bombarded with abuse midweek every week on the forums in anticipation for the gift bonus week. At least this way it gives time to launch the bonus week even if they don't announce it until after EU server restarts on a Tuesday, and then players know what to expect ready for weekly reset. (It may also be smart as some players may be more likely to spend money on replay badges on Tuesday/Wednesday for the extra marks if it's a Bonus Bizarro Samples week for example. Could even go as far to say it may slightly increase players logging in and playing the game on Tuesday/Wednesday depending on the bonus week, when these are usually the quieter days of the week) Just my two cents.
Your A "Well Known Player" that showed up in March 2024 Reminds me of another New "Well Known Player" from March 2024, Wiccan028 My "Flexecutionor" is a 3yr old Account with many 'waiting for approval' post, still a 'New player' so New 'Well Known Players' stands out to me. I would hope Devs would not feel the need to hide in the forums to talk to Us, the players. We had a 'good' relationship with the old dev teams before, and we can now!
lol... You know, that all you have to do to get the title of "Well-known Player" on the forums is make 100 posts, right? Anyone can do this in an afternoon, especially if all they do is spew nonsense. No need for silly conspiracy theories about devs posting on the forums, disguised as a a clearly mentally unstable individual, who refers to themselves in 3rd person and is likely a sock account of a previously banned poster, who used to do the same exact thing right until earlier this year... Socking is against forum rules, I believe, so if you're using multiple accounts, perhaps that's what prevents your posts from being approved, especially if both accounts were created using the same email address and/or you're not hiding your IP address.
No 'socking' here, I asked Mepps for a way to invite Alts to my personal league in the forum. Make a second account came up, and He agreed. Two emails both with 'all access' badges. Our 'Content Creators' do the same thing.

So your telling me when you guys implement these new changes that directly affects the players y'all can't even elaborate or even engage a little about it? Just straight stone faced. I know the dev's here are likely "uncomfortable" with engaging in dialogue with the player base but, now there can be no excuses for the "alienated" feelings of being called greens. Because y'all are so out-of-touch with your player base it's as if you'll are from a different galaxy.
So no bonus week again I gather? Tuesday was supposed to be for releases going forward. Thursday would still be weekly reset they said “for now”. I asked Kikumod to clarify what that meant for bonus weeks going forward both on here in the Discord and on the forum but got no reply despite them being on just minutes prior. So does that mean bonuses will not be constants from now on, who knows? But as a paying member of your game DCUO I’d appreciate a bit more transparency Dimensional Ink/Daybreak Games/EG7 to your players. Thanks again. Games like Fortnite for heavens sakes makes DCUO look like amateurs at this point. What’s going on over there really?

Huh? You created a 2nd FOURM account to invite yourself to your league? You know he meant create a 2nd game account, right? Even if he did mean forum account, why would you ever need to post on the 2nd one if it's just for doing league invites (or dueling as many people do).
This would only work if bonus weeks are announced prior to the previous Thursday (unlikely, given that they are currently announced last minute). Otherwise, most people will have already done their weeklies (usually on reset day or on the weekend) and will be loot locked by Tuesday. Edit: I want to add that even if they did give us that much notice, it would create a very weird situation where no one would want to run their raids for 5 whole days from Thursday to Monday.
Yeah back in the day Mepps used to announce around Monday or Tuesday or so for bonus weeks. Heck I remember when he had bonuses and events planned in Announcements months in advance. We’re a long way from that now lol
Yeah, I see this change causing a lot of mad dash raiding on Tues-Wed as people hold off when we are close to a 2x DLC week...which is good for me, as I generally put off running raids till Mon/Tues/Wed anyway...(no reason...just can't be bothered most times). The weeklies though....that's a hassle. It's always best to knock those out early. I'd say a good policy would be make sure always to announce 'endgame' DLC bonuses the week before. Sales and random EEG spotlights, other 2x weeks (of any kind) or bonus stabilizers...sure, surprise us still on Wed...but one a week lockout related things it would be nice to know. Seems like they probably know the schedule months in advance for new DLC bonus timing...should be able to let us know...unless there is some OTHER sinister reason, like upping replay sales? Nah....that's just conspiracy theory...forget I said anything. Or, you know....change it to Tuesday reset? Nah...why do that?
You mean - a situation, where on EUPC/PS it would be possible to find people to run with outside of Thursday-Sunday window? How awful... And sure - the last 3 episode spotlights will be affected, so the few players, who don't have responsibilities on Thursday mornings and have been able to double-dip during those bonus weeks might miss out on that, I guess. The rest of us have been coping just fine with that so far, though, so probably not a huge concern overall. As for seasonals, or new episodes - a reset 2 days after the content goes live seems like it might be quite beneficial for many players. So much so, that I expect they'll move reset day to Tuesday as well at some point, probably soon.
Yeah, I was wondering about that. I have a dozen or so DCUO accounts on my PC, which I use for all sorts of stuff in-game, together with my PS main account. I could log any and all of them on the forums, but I can't think of any reason to do that, that is not nefarious.
I agree that it's not a huge concern. I think the vast majority of people aren't staying up to double-dip after Thursday morning loot lock reset. My point was that it's not going to be easy to double-dip after the changes either, if we don't know when the bonus weeks will happen. So most players will continue to not benefit from a double-dip.
Personally not on seasonals, but on 2x weeks I'd often double dip the weeklies post reset. Soooo....it does happen.
