Please add the following changes to armory. 1. Please remove combat cooldown for armories. 2. Please let us save a unique powers permenantly to each armory. that way we can tank, heal, control, or dps in any variety we like 3. Please increase the armory limit to about 8 or 10. We have number pads that go up to 1-9 or 1 to 0 technically, so please do this. I think doing these things will increase the balance of this game. Thank You!
A lot of us don’t have numbers on our controllers. But I’m also wanting to armory change more often. Maybe not that many times but another one or 2 would be fun. Well, could be. Could be a disaster. Whatever. One way to find out.
This is actually a really good idea, I wonder if there tech can actually handle that, if it can that’ll be awesome if you can switch roles with a saved power to an armory. Would be nice to switch roles if you got the gear and loadout saved to back it up instead of switching to another character, especially (If you’re a 1 character only type of player).
This would be great idea, although I don't see them doing #2, as it would hurt income of power changes in the long run, or alts (maybe both). I most certainly would love more than 4 armory changes though! I've got loadouts for certain things that I can't switch to, because it's not a "regularly used" armory. There's some pretty nice setups I would to try as well, but with the limit of 4, it makes it very difficult to switch back. The combat timer, should at least be reduced. Accidents happen, but you can't switch after that. 2 healers switch and one needs to return to dps, "nope!"
Now where I have read these suggestions before? Cooldowns: https://forums.daybreakgames.com/dcuo/index.php?threads/please-remove-armory-cooldown.314899/ Powersets: https://forums.daybreakgames.com/dc...armory-to-save-a-different-superpower.314900/ https://forums.daybreakgames.com/dcuo/index.php?threads/please-make-armory-hold-superpower.310546/ That's great that PC has keyboards with numbers, console controllers however do not have numbers. As it's already been explained to you in your other threads, which you repeatedly choose to ignore, all of your suggestions are shortsighted and lawless. The opposite of balance.
I've always wanted increases to how many armories we can have per character/per base. and I've often read the various arguments against these increases. all that being said, If there's one thing I really want to see aded to the armories it's the hairstyles. now, admittedly, on most of my male toons that's not much of a request. many of them wear cowls or battle helmets so you don't really see their hair anyway. however, on my female characters, that's a different matter. the hairstyles are just as important as any other costume piece (and in the case of a couple of my characters, It's the only added piece to the character outside of the occasional aura. (one of my characters is living water, the other is Green energy) My biggest hope is that whatever Graphics update we get next year allows for Hair and maybe even skins to be added to our armories. again, I'm not asking to be able to change between all these looks at the same time. I'm more than willing to have just four "active" armories being accessible with the others being little more than department store "fashions" taking up space in one of my bases. (that being said, I'd love to be able to fill up a base with said armories and not be limited to just 16 per character.)
All but number 2 are good ideas, number 2 would break too much stuff and it would suck if you accidently imprinted the wrong armory and lost a power, besides if you want to play other powers you can just use alts.
1. no because of balance 2. no because of balance 3. no because of controllers really #3 is the ONLY thing that MIGHT happen one day if they some how manage to find a way for controllers to access them without breaking fingers.
Controllers are an easy workaround. You could add another four armouries by allowing us to press L2+R2 and then use the four face buttons (ABXY/ X, Triangle, Circle, Square) in addition to the D-Pad. Probably wouldn't be the prettiest thing to have eight armouries on screen at once, but it's doable.
I don't think the first two are possible, but as for the third - I think it will be cool for style purposes, but useless for combat. You don't really need more than dps melee and dps range and role.
