Has anyone checked the Vendor that originally sold it to see if it has returned (as talked about in this video from 5 years ago)? EDIT: Well, I went and checked it out myself. Nope, they did not put it back in the Argus Supply Officer Vendor. This has got to be the stupidest, most disrespectful thing they've done to fans of the Bat Family in almost 14 years of this game. We can speculate as to why. With so many of the old Dev staff having left and so many new ones having come in right at the time the agreements probably needed to be put in place with DC Comics, it probably fell through the cracks. But as the video above and other info has reminded me, during the 80th Anniversary Year, that Emblem was available to players from March through September. You had a full 6 months to obtain it, just as with the Superman Anniversary Emblem before it. So in order to do this right, this Emblem needed to be made available again no later than June 1st of this year! At this point, the only way to make this right for the fans is for them to make it an automatic Grant, like the T-Shirt, but set it so that the Grant NEVER expires! Even if you don't log back in until 2 years from now, you get your Emblem! I doubt they'll be smart enough to do that, though.
I know you are also an avid fan of styles. You make many cool posts of the styles you are able to recreate. As you said, this one may have slipped through the cracks. Possibly largely due to many of the posts in the thread for styles we want to see next being completely overlooked. Perhaps the 21st will roll around and we will see if this event is all that was in store for us players and supporters of this product, that many of us have loved and supported through all of the changes the game has seen throughout the years. One thing is certain though, many people are upset about this one piece of iconic DC history not returning and everyone that has yet to have a chance to enjoy it should be afforded the opportunity once more to acquire the Batman Anniversary Emblem. No armory that is dedicated to an iconic Batman suit is complete without the option to sport one of the most visibly recognizable superhero emblems of all comic history.
Just checking if this will be a 1-to-1 conversion. That would be really good and determines if I run it past the 10 days for the cowl. EDIT: Never mind, I see it's 1-to-1 on the vendor!
Any chance of getting the yellow and black emblem on tempest for 250 sm for the rest of the year like the super man emblem last year?
Just be careful and check what’s account bound and what’s tradable. Like the Wayne Manor base items are tradable but some of the Batman posters aren’t? I picked some loot thinking they were sellable on the broker only to find out they weren’t lol
So having done the event two days now, I have gotten a sixth dimensional batman emblem, and a couple rewards from past Batman Day stuff.. in theory I wonder if the 80th emblem is just on the random loot table for the cache's
It is important to note that the caches stack, can be transferred on your account, traded to other players, and sold on the broker. If you have a Batman toon I would trade all of the caches through the shared bank to that toon. If you want to make some money, post them in the broker. People at this moment are posting the caches for about 4 million a piece. Not worth that in my opinion but if you prefer in game cash to opening the crates, use the broker.
Kendricke, I had to quote you here because I am not sure how else to reach you or get your attention or anyone's attention from your team. I want to point you to a very important topic in this thread, on which there has been no definitive answer nor transparency thusfar; we as players would like an answer. I speak for myself, but others have certainly parroted my concern. Will the Batman Anniversary Emblem be returning, this being the 85th birthday celebration of the most iconic Batman, as a grant or as an item purchasable with source marks or with this new Batman coin currency? This is a sensitive subject and an important one to all of the Batman fans that play, support, and love this game. I have waited five (5) entire years for this 2nd chance opportunity to acquire this very dear to my heart emblem; that not only reminds me of brighter years in my distant childhood, seeing 1989's Batman at a drive-in theater eating popcorn on a blanket on top of the hood of my folks car, but it hearkens back to some of the best memories in comic book history. We saw the return of the Superman Anniversary Emblem, and this was a proud moment for DCUO at large, seeing new and returning players alike being able to don that gorgeous emblem. Will you kindly shed light on this, please? Can you deliver?
All I'm saying is i hope Wonder Woman gets some love. She's the only hero mentor with no prime Ally also the only one with no base plus only has 1 statue and her emblem is not in game.
Wonder Woman day this year is October 21st. I believe 2026 is her 85th anniversary, but I could be wrong. When that time comes, I hope for all Wonder Woman fans to be pleasantly surprised. Just curious, would her base be an invisible plane? Certainly not a fortress nor a cave!
It would be themysciran. Last superman day we got his base and the year before we got his ally for is anniversary. Same with batman. It wasn't their 85 and they got all that... Wonder Woman deserves better.
Last Superman Day we had his Anniversary emblem return for the 85th celebration. Batman deserves this right now as we speak, for his 85th celebration, the players deserve this. And when WW has her 85th, then she will deserve it and the players as well, with all of your other requests.
Jeepers, folks, when DC symbology/designs aren't available in the game, it's almost certainly because, for whatever reason, DC didn't give permission, not because people at Daybreak somehow forgot to ask or were too stupid to ask. I realize it's disappointing because nobody from DC Entertainment, the conglomerate, is present in the forums to read how you're going to stop your subscription (oh noes, THAT will show the multibillion-dollar corporation for sure!) or to read your posts berating them (my SIXTH post of complaint will surely devastate them when they realize I'm writing just like THE SIMPSONS' Comic Book Guy!), but that's the way licensing in these situations works: one side asks, the other side grants and that happens when both side are going to earn a profit from the deal.
I would also like to know if the Batman emblem can touch. I add to the list of possible rewards: - Batman statue in black and white - wall
There are actually several different versions of her Emblem in the game! Some were timed, limited releases, while some are from Time Capsules and thus readily accessible. We also have some Wonder Woman Inspired Style Sets with appropriate Emblems built-in. So the real question is this: Which SPECIFIC Wonder Woman Emblem are you wanting and not able to obtain?
FYI I'm talking about manor and fortress and item packs which were given to superman and bat man LONG B4 THEIR 85TH
I am talking about prime Wonder Woman the real one her emblem was not in the game only as a code in back of a comic book and people put the code in lfg before I was playing also with the Batman versus Superman pack once again before I was playing. I understand I was not playing at that time but people were not playing at the time when the Superman emblem originally came out and they brought it back less than 5 years afterwards the Wonder Woman real emblem has not been brought back even though it came out way before.
Start a thread and get some traction. I support what you are saying. As fans we can voice our concerns and we should, especially if it is something you believe in and would be willing to pay for to see it achieved. I certainly had expectations from my experiences with DCUO. Your experience speaks to not having seen equal representation for a beloved character, and I am not in disagreement with you. There is a great pantheon of characters of which we have yet to even see the likes of within the DCUO. So many places and stories to run with from the comics the possibilities are near endless. Seriously, start a thread. I will give a thumb up in support, FYI!!
