It actually said Superman anniversary emblem in the vendor. Not a debate. Don't worry, it was the 80th then and it was the 85th as well. I would just like to acquire the emblem, regardless of what anyone wants to call it. Have a good day!
We see the events in the On-Duty, the welcome screen message and grant for the Switch. You need to be level 10 for the Batman Day grant. You do have to be the appropriate level to play the content, but the solo for today is Level 30. Everyday should have 1 Level 30 piece of content.
You only get the marks once per day, doing any of the content. It says complete one of the missions from the Batman Day missions. Go into your journal to complete it. It is expected that we run at minimum one piece of content from the event and then we get 10 coins, once per day. The rest that you do will drop caches once completing them in the journal. Also, go and see Steve Trevor. These missions will count towards your omnibus weekly completions. You will not receive more coins by spamming content. You will either have to buy the coins with marketplace cash or run a piece of content each day from now until the 23rd.

This is truly a real nice Batman Day. I am glad, for newcomers they'll be able to get the sixth dimensional batman emblem and previous rewards through the new rewards. Little notes though : - The cowl is awesome. I love the fact it behaves like the Knight of vengeance on the face part. The look is very neat and a real nice adaptation of the one we saw in Blood Rain. Though I would have expected it to be account-bound instead of character-locked as one may want to buy it for another character (yes, I bought it twice on my main, 1 for him and 1 for another character without reading) - I was hoping for the 89 Batman emblem to come back as a temporary reward for the 35th Batman 89 Anniversary, I suppose it wasn't possible though. - I love the new communication and the new additions to the game. Year of the Dragon was a masterpiece (love the idea of cross-over events through daybreak games), Superman Day was great, Batman Day is awesome. Thx so much.
Seriously, sebfm? You and I have both been lobbying for years for the classic emblem or Batman INC emblem... I am thoroughly disappointed. Unless they WOW me by releasing it between now and actual Batman Day, I'm pulling the plug on subscribing monthly. I waited 5 years for this opportunity and it is a shame. If they can do it for Superman, surely they can do it for Batman. People in game are talking about it. The YTers, their comment section is filled with, "I hope they bring back the classic emblem." Missed opportunity to please the part of the community that wasn't here in 2019.
We can still cross fingers and hope DC/Warner provided the rights If it's not back, we both know it's not new team fault, they have much to do for now. I have big hope for the new team with the additions they provide ingame and in communications
How did they manage to get Superman emblem for 85th and not Batman Anniversary Emblem? Is the person who made that happen gone? Fact is we still have the 21st approaching, but if this is the totality of Batman day for the 85th anniversary, it isn't crowd pleasing. I am not alone when I say we want the anniversary emblem. Literally talking in game to people all upset that it hasn't returned. It would be nice if a dev would clarify the situation. I have literally said Batman Anniversary Emblem in this thread half a dozen times...
Why did you choose Monsters of Metal?? DCUO general player base refuses to follow mechanics because of that STUPID leaderboard (not the scoreboard, those are very different things), so they keep attacking Batman Who Laughs, they ignore adds and everything else. You either reeducate players or don't make decent players go through terrible experiences. Most of the time, the leaderboard rewards bad players while encouraging toxic behavior and disbanding. No one wants to do mechanics because they won't get recognition. If you won't get rid of it, at least replace more (boss) damage done/healing done/power given for: - Less knockouts (encourages players to perform blocks when needed) - More interactions (encourages players to interact with cogs, consoles, etc) - More chat activity (encourages players not to ignore each other) - Keep more rallies and no deaths, those are the good ones Those are the info the group wants, the ones who can measure team effort and players' actual skills. PvE is not PvP. We don't need players in the same group competing against each other. Damage doesn't need to be encouraged to attack. Healers don't need to be encouraged to heal. Tanks don't need to be encouraged to take hits. Trolls don't need to be encouraged to give power. We choose our roles because we already want to do those things. We can check the scoreboard if we need to check statistics. You also should implement some sort of medal system for groups. Like, a "Godspeed Seal" for finishing it fast, a "Persistent Seal" for finishing after many attempts, an "Unshakable Seal" if we finish it after one or more wipes. MAKE PEOPLE FEEL GOOD FOR FINISHING A RUN, beyond individual rewards. Also, harsher punishments should be applied against people who abandon a run. 1 min cooldown from On Duty is a blessing, not a curse. Give them 5 min>10 min>20 min>40 min>1h20. Give them a pop-up asking why they left - sometimes, people leave after the first wipe because they think the group will get stuck, and asking that question may make them reflect on their behavior. Oh, and you know how we have those statues in the League Halls that give us some sort of reputation? Make something like that for our in-game profiles, like X% of runs finished, active on chat, total hours played - those types of things. P.S.: If you want players to complete against each other, then you should invest on PvP then.

So I rarely post, but yea I missed out on the Batman 80th emblem due to personal issues that happened that year, was hoping we would've gotten the 80th emblem this year like we got the Superman Emblem for Superman Day. Pretty disappointing really. Sucks that we get a Batman blood rain inspired mask but no emblem. Really frustrates me :/
I totally empathize with you and feel your pain. I too had life happen and was not able to play when the emblem first came out in 2019. By the time I was able to come back to the game the emblem was gone. And today after waking up having so much hope in anticipation of this event, I am just left feeling bitter and I know many others, including us, are feeling the letdown.
Yea it is a total let down.. Also why do it with Superman and not Batman? I am super confused, is it some sort of issue where they have to pay a specific artist that designed the logo and don't want to. Heck though I would even be okay with them putting it in the fate store for the cost of tokens in that or it being a perma thing in the quark store that people can work to... so frustrating that they just removed it.
They either dropped the ball, didn't get permission to rerelease it, or they are holding it back for the actual official Batman Day on the 21st. I already got my hopes up for five years, I'm not a betting man, but I hope it was just an oversight and that they will make it happen. No logical reason why they can't, shouldn't, wouldn't want to do it.
