Are there any specific dates to either the 'Future Timeline' where the Justice League is wiped out and Brainiac Invades, or Future Lex released the Exobytes in the 'present'? Is the game's Launch Date considered the in-universe day Future Lex released the Exobytes?
The passage of time can be a rather nebulous thing in the source material (the events of a day or so can take months to play out in a series) so I'm not even going to try and guess about time passage in the game. LOL
I'm still waiting on the conclusion to the cliffhanger ending of the Earth 3 episode. What was coming through that tear? What ended up happening to the planet and the people there?
I was told it was the Anti-Monitor. Makes sense I think due to having a solo during the Anniversary Event where you find out what had happened with those characters from earth 3. (I think, probably wrong, but I know it was Earth 3 related)
It'd be nice to see the E3 stuff continue though, because even with the anniversary solo it's still pretty open ended.
I presume that the DCUO writing team has some kind of 'writers' bible' for guiding the development of new material for the DLCs. That would at least include a rough Timeline. I ho9e a Dev would see this thread and share some of that timeline info. Lacking said details, I have made a rough Timeline of my own, which assumes that we are dealing with Two Timelines: the 1st produces Future Lex Luthor & Future Batman. The 2nd is the Main DCUO Timeline. For this Timeline I am treating the real world development as the basis for game chronology, so a Release Date is the date an Event Starts, and it usually ends some time prior to the 'next event'...
