I took a break when that raid came out. All I know is to not hit trigonometry when he's laughing lol.
1 - Get two tanks. One to keep the possessed enemies away while the team engages the avatar of sin. There's a feat for that. 1.1 - If Mammoth is one of them, you risk him charging towards the team due to scripted attacks. Nothing big unless you are going for the feat. 2 - When fighting Brother Blood, release each of Raven's brothers ONE AT A TIME, then get one tank to pull them towards Raven. She will 1-hit KO them. 3 - STAY AWAY FROM THE BLOOD POOL! 4 - Do not lunge Brother Blood. Do not melee him either, unless his force field is off. 5 - Let the supports go for the totems that will appear in place of the brothers. 6 - When Trigon appears, fight him normally, but go for the pentagrams ASAP. If you don't he'll buff himself until he becomes fully immune to damage. 7 - Each member of your team should go for the pentagrams ONCE during the fight. 8 - Don't attack him while he's laughing. 9 - Trigon has an AoE. If you play healer or troller, stay very much away from him. 10 - Don't forget to blame the healer for everything, even if you die idiotically and get 1-hit.
When Raven turns against you, he spawns adds. The tank then has to pull the adds and Raven, if possible. At the same time 5 Pentagrams (8 in elite) one after another will appear across the room with a symbol above them. People have to move into them and stay for a second, until the symbol disappears and they have a purple flame on their head. If no-one gets them, they disappear too and give Trigon a buff, which looks like a ghost flying around him. He gets stronger with every buff he gets. If trigon get's 5 buffs in one rotation, he kind of enraged and can easily wipe the group. Each rotation it should be 5 different people getting the pentagrams. If someone get's two in one rotation, the second one will kill him. When Trigon throws a meteor at or close to you, move away from it. It explodes and does massive damage. When Trigon pulls the group to him, he also puts a red flamy aura around some people. Move away from each other quickly (he usually pulls twice in a row) and block, until the auras are gone. They explode after a few seconds and do massive damage to teammates, who are close. Trigon's laser can set you on fire. Block to get less damage or ask the healer/s to spam heals. An imp-like creature called "hatered" appears close to trigon and usually stuns the tank to death. Quickly kill it to save the tank, because there is no other way to break out of his stun.
U can hit him when hes laughing. IIRC when he laughs either the imp guy is coming out or hes dropping the fireball. And not hitting him wont stop those 2 things from happening. But the laugh might not do either of those things. Just cant remember atm. But i know we hit him in this vid when hes laughing and it doesnt do anything. Here is a video of 2nd and last boss. Vid is from when it was the newest raid and i had all elite gear from it and all the feat before the next episode went live and we never mentioned anything about not hitting him when he laughs when we did this raid. It was get the pentagrams, kill the adds, block on the fireball and laser, and get away from his pull because of the orange aura it puts on ya and it explodes if u are close to other people w/it. After rewatching this i only see him laugh once but like i said that was never mentioned when we ran this.
Wait... there are mechanics to UM? Is that why I never ran it to completion during the promo? Groups kept seeing people leave and giving up. If there are mechanics, and higher CR's were typing and chatting about things (including hkw much it sucks), then why was none of the chatter a set of instructions? Odd. Very odd. Wait... not odd. DCUO.
To add to this^ OP. Tell your tank not to use a power after the Hells Hatred spawns and it wont stun him. As long as he knows the animation (Trigon raises his arm) he can hit a power quickly to refresh his tank buff and aggro and just block it out while the groups kills it quick.
To clarify on #2 here, he means kill one brother then release another. on #5 its usually tank get totems 1st, 1 healer 2nd, troll 3rd, then 2nd healer last if there are 2 healers. as for the Trigon fight there will be a enemy that spawns during the fight called iirc Hellfire, you must kill that as soon as possible (or the DPS') because it stuns the tank I think.
yup my 3rd ever run in there I tanked it and boy did that end up badly lol. I didnt know to look out for that or to call it out so it was a wipe, and where I have my parser set up I forgot how to go back to the default combat log setup. To see what exactly is killing me and so on.
Well, most people running it now weren't running it when it was endgame, especially if you are entering via queue. You could've watched a youtube to figure out the mechanics the same as the other 7 people.
Maybe so. Seems like you just wanted to have another low level moral superiority post. Its kind of a theme with you.
