I would like the administration in charge of creating new items to be worn in DC Universe Online to have this content ready for February 2022 seasonal event Valentines Day, the "Star Sapphire Love set" for $20 as a package on the online store in DC Universe Online. ___________ 1st image https://www.deviantart.com/xoforce/art/1-901347915 2 https://www.deviantart.com/xoforce/art/2-901347921 ___________________ The package also comes with -Star Sapphire healer- she stays with you never leaves unless you want her to, to activate of deactivate her click (R3) She heavily likes doing healing and shielding powers, she wears damage role to prevent foes from gaining up on her. (Cool down to activate Star Sapphire healer is zero seconds. Notes. I sick of DC Universe Online administration not giving us Star Sapphire major stuff plus the lack of items that looks very feminine for the female gender side. Yes I know, I give the administration all rights and belongings to my drawing plus the details that I , that is what companies want to hear if folks want corporations to use his her stuff.
Not gonna happen, my guy. Sorry. I too would live more Star Sapphire stuff, but... if you think this is happening, you're dreaming.
First off, I don't think they're in the habit/practice of taking submissions in that manner. Second, it's not just the makers of the game, you'd have to get DC approval as well. Third? From my understanding, they tend to start work on stuff for seasonals at least six months ahead of said seasonal event. So you're probably around four months or so behind the curve on anything for the Valentine's Day event. Two months is most likely nowhere near enough time to get that into the game, especially with everything else that's been going on of late.
Whats next you claim you know the future? What part of corporations also hate being predictable don't you understand. Some of my previous stuff actually made it into the game, I even left hidden clues on the content I clearly spotted, I wont tell which content though.
Wait, don't tell me you're the guy who created the Batman vs. Superman emblem that was later sold in the game and happened to look exactly like the one in the movie!
Their contract with DC Comics only allows them to replicate assets from the printed comics. They can't use anything from TV/film, other games, outside submissions, etc.
Just not something I've heard of happening with this game, and generally you don't see companies accepting what could be considered unsolicited submissions from the player base. Any time I've heard of a game accepting those kinds of submissions, there's usually some kind of process to it and (I'd imagine) some forms that would be filled out actually giving the company involved the rights to the submission/artwork. That kind of thing probably holds up better legally than someone just saying, "Hey, I give you the rights to use this" in a forum post. Corporations may hate being predictable, but they also like making sure they're covering their own backsides in the process. Considering there isn't any kind of process like that for DCUO, I'm inclined to think they don't generally accept or use unsolicited submissions. Could it happen? I guess, it's a weird world and strange/unexpected things can happen. But as I said, it's not something I've heard of happening with the game.
I appreciate your passion and with all things you never know, at the very least hopefully they put a bunch of your potential ideas on a wish list and with any luck we'll get a bunch of new star sapphire stuff in February, even if it's not what you asked for.
I too would enjoy more Star Sapphire themed gear, hairstyles, etc. Hopefully we will get something Star Sapphire related.
The designs are really nice but you realistically need to get the worm into the devs (Oceans) head about a year in advance. And even then the devs have to get approval for what they do add to the game.
You want everyone to believe that the devs used your work yet you need your ideas to be passed along? If they were using your ideas than you’d have a direct path to submitting these ideas. Sounds fishy to me
They can't use other peoples' work because that would leave them open to legal action as far as I'm aware. If something made it into the game that was similar to something you created then that's entirely coincidental.
