Just wanted to show you guys the match. She beat me in the 1st and 2nd round. 3rd round, she tried to run and kept using pets and teleportation. 4th round, same thing. 5th round, same thing again. Very annoying.. or maybe she's just playing Circe the right way.
Running away is never the "right way" but yes, that was a well played Circe. Wouldn't call them great at all
DCUO's crappy lag, but you made a lot of mistakes also...You don't know how to use catwoman. And why wasn't Circe blocked at the very beginning? That uppercut should have been blocked. You also had some targeting problems. I've had problems targeting for awhile too, but you were just attacking willy nilly (all over the place). I personally would have focused Circe (the player not the pet), and she gave away A LOT of countering opportunities. You should have immediately moved your camera when circe teleported. That's your key to see what she does next. How do you know if she was throwing BBs or not for you to lunge her? At .59 seconds you could have interrupted her but you were attacking the pets, but that can happen to anyone because I swear the targeting reticle disappears or doesn't register sometimes. At 1.08 she threw another BB but you were in the middle of an animation. You have to react to the player and not just attack blindly sometimes. You also used the same combo too many times, the tap 1 hold and whiplash. DCUO is broken and has been for awhile which is why so many people have left. With all those pets and CC moves I bet it was definitely hard to keep breaking out, which is BS also.
Does not help if you keep having the same blocking pattern and let the Circe user get away with Double Range attacks. I don't know why players think spamming Whip Lash is the way for playing Catwoman.
Apart from what ThePhilosophy said (which covered it pretty well) l thought I'd add that you were having a big issue with your target lock-on, or rather you weren't staying locked-on. Anytime she teleported away from you she was basically safe because you didnt have her target locked, she'd teleport and you'd immediately lose her target and start fighting the pets. When fighting Circe make sure you keep her targeted at all times, so when she teleports you can immediately tell where she went and give her the necessary counter.
I think your biggest mistake was being so predictable with your blocks and giving his pets way to much attention. Should of been a Fairly easy match with cat woman's high burst and circes poor health pool :/
Sabigya they think its the way to go, because most times it works. Literally all this cat did was spam tap hold whiplash...which is exactly what I said cats do in some other forum... either spam tap hold whiplash or BB. And jchan, no she wasn't playing circe the right way, but she was playing considerably better than your tap hold whiplash game play to be honest, at least she got some BBs here and there. Try doing some other combos?
You're losing two rounds to a Circe as a Catwoman and then you're coming to the forums and complain about the Circe using tactics/trying everything to win? Such wow, such smh.
You should focus on your performance more than Circe's. Apart from what others have said there were 2 glaring mistakes I saw. You didn't have Circe Target locked and opted for attacking her pets instead when she teleported. All the dmg & energy you spent going after her pets would probably have given you a faster win if you instead focused it on your REAL enemy. If someone summons pets just use AOE attacks and they will die soon enough BUT always focus on your opponent. Don't take the bait which you did many times. You did not use Catwoman's 1 Power - your pull - to bring down Circe. I don't think I saw you pull once. You could have ended that fight much faster if you just used your pull for god sakes. Use pulls when you opponent is flying or trying to be evasive.PVP 101.
