Do we know what this Rare item is yet? Episode 18 • Rare item that grants title "Corrupted" is now called "Corrupted Remains". This was done because there is already a collection item with the same name.
Maybe it's the OP piece. Didn't they say there was going to be one in this coming Episode? Seems likely that would be big enough to warrant a title.
They changed the title in the hotfix... to "corrupted remains" did you even read my post? lol https://forums.daybreakgames.com/dcuo/index.php?threads/server-hotfix-november-26-2015.263995/
Ah, so, it's a token/item that you consume and it grants the title.... ? Sorry I thought it was a gear piece or style or something, not just the title. Remove the thread if you think it's confusing.
I think what he is asking is if it is a consumable, style, piece of gear, or that kind of thing. He literally wants to know what the item itself is, not just what effect it has on your title.
This reminds me of way back when when people would ask how to do a trade, and they would receive 13 different answers stating, "free players can't trade". That was so damn annoying to me. I would get onto shout and say, " umm...he didn't ask you anything about subscription levels, he asked how a trade is performed. As in, what buttons, and in what sequence do you press them to execute a trade". It was ridiculous that I had to explain the question to people. Don't get me wrong, this situation isn't quite like that, but it reminds me of it lol.
I guess it shows how little I care about the title ...it's like that gift you open and it's a pair of socks, but you keep looking for something more in the box... because it's socks. Edit: My understanding is that it was added to encourage players to (try to) finish last boss and not just farm the first 2 bosses... so I was expecting a bigger reward
Yeah I don't care about the title at all either. I use the "knight for justice" title even though it is far from the most impressive one I have because it sounds the coolest to me.
There will be a time when you'll actually look forward to that. "Nice! New socks for 2 weeks straight."
