Black Adam is Stupidly OP

Every time he gets block broken via range he can teleport and lunge you so you get the counter dmg. Lol wel done dcuo another broken game.

Not to mention his immunity from shazam lasts as long as blue immunity almost ha

Sadly all that can be said is, of course he is. He is borderline a carbon copy of Shazam and Shazam is OP.

you kiddin? Black Adam is not op at all. He's definitely not weak, but he's far from OP.

I'd say he's a middle of the road Legend.

Middle of the road would be someone like Huntress I think, she doesn't have any broken mechanics or SC.

I found Huntress and Raynor to be the most balanced when doing my full legends re-balance. I can fix Black Adam, but I'm too lazy.

That's right. I maintain a list of Legends Character Tiers that tries to suggest how strong every character in the game is, and Huntress has been right in the middle since that started. I just updated it the other day to put Black Adam into the same special top tier that only Shazam and Two-Face were in.

I really don't think that BA is that good.

I have come across him as an opponent a lot in the last week and I recall thinking to myself that he is actually kinda weak in comparison to Shazam and most legends.

Well said. This is almost certainly the case. Black Adam can siphon your health, push you off the node, knockdown and stun you while putting up an aoe and using shazam to retreat and gain immunity should you manage to knock them down. This character when used correctly is top tier legends at least. That's not to say he's completely unbeatable but it is quite the hassle and not easily done and, quite frankly, other legends have been Nerfed for less.

Yea anybody that's good with him will be hard to beat... Is for sure TOP TIER.

Shazam is strong for legends pve. I don't have black adam yet to test him.

Haven't tried them in pvp yet as I been focusing on getting more skill points before the next dlc comes out.

Pretty sure no one in the PVP section is worried about how they play in PVE man.

Black Adam is a really important, special character and not that I like legends imbalance but I wish he would've been as OP as Shazam. Perhaps give him a finisher like Shazam ( maybe double fist into backfist) and TBH that little shield he generates kind of blows.

Maybe he could even have a lightning bolt that he throws.

Well actually now that I think about it this shield could be useful against stealth attackers and finishers.

So you're saying a skilled Black Adam or Shazam would beat the same skilled player with Two-Face, Catwoman or Huntress...every time?

Cuz for my money, fighting a skilled Huntress is the worst event in the entire game...same for Catwoman.
It's just silly how much damage they can "sneak in" during melee combat.

My God that was brutal.

That damage doesn't do anything useful if you're dumping it into the damage absorption Shazam and Black Adam get from their "Shazam!" powers. They can evade much of the punishment for bad counters that way too.

Huntress can clip a lot of damage into a short period if you let her. Much of that can be blocked or interrupted though. It's easy to not block enough against her and take a beating. And if you're having that problem, Catwoman will be even tougher. Check out the Huntress Character Guide for more details about why she seems so powerful to some players.

Two Face has the same sort of overpowered damage absorption issue as Shazam and Black Adam, in his insanely OP supercharge. The idea of whether someone would win every time is not really a useful one in a fighting match where there's so much randomness involved. What some other game communities do is rank in terms of how many wins you'd expected with repeat battles. A really lopsided battle like Shazam vs. Saint Walker would give an expected 10/10 wins for Shazam. Using that sort of scoring system, I'd roughly estimate that Shazam vs. Two Face is 6/10 for Shazam; Shazam vs. Catwoman 7/10 for Shazam; and Shazam vs. Huntress is 8/10 for Shazam.

I have Shazam and Black Adam because I collect Legends toons like action figures, but I don't care for them in play.
I struggle terribly with Batman, Catwoman and Huntress. From time to time I just plain get wrecked by them.

I'm not sure what I am missing, but there is something going on I can't understand.

Usually, I play with Deathstroke or Green Arrow.

The reality is that both Black Adam and Shazam are stupidly and hilariously op, but who cares right? I've come to terms that in this game balance is nothing more then a fairy tale no offense.
